Few changes to the car are allowed in T1; much less than say Motorola Cup or World Challenge (WCGT). I'm not compeletely certain, but I'm almost positive that the carbon fiber hood would not be allowed in T1. I suppose if you want to cut holes in a stock hood (ouch!), you could do that... Neil Hannemann had us (ViperSpeed) do that with the WCGT cars in '98 to reduce lift but I don't think it helped much and we went back to stock hoods.
