Traveling to the Dells

A group of MCVO folks are going to take the ferry from MI to Milwaulkee and stay in the Dells. Anyone have any suggestion on where to stay? None of us have ever been to the Dells.

Is the Dells really that much of an attraction to go to outside of Wisconsin? I don't know as I live here. I'd say Kalahari for hotel. Especially if there are kids. Nig's is probably the best bar. Cruisin' Chubbys (for **********).

Is the Dells really that much of an attraction to go to outside of Wisconsin?

When I used to live in WI I went there a couple times a year. Now that I'm out of state I try to get there any time I'm in Wisconsin. That being being said, I don't know if I'd know or go if I hadn't been exposed to it when I lived there.

I've wondered the same about lots of attractions/theme parks like Schlitterbahn, Cedar Point, and all the Six Flags parks. Do people outside of the areas they are in really travel to see them?

I'll be in the Dells in two weeks! Looking forward to Paul Bunyan's!!!
