Local seen:

Since the Lancaster covered bridge tour I tore down my motor and did a quick rebuild. It is now done and tonight at 4:30 I turn the key. Cross your fingers for me. This has been one heck of a build. I will be doing a write up on this if it is a success. Lots of details. Found nothing wrong but found allot ready to go wrong. It was ready to go bang!

Grocery list:
Ported heads
genIII valves
GenIII rockers
Custom ground comp cam
New lifters
pined crank
new rod bearings (coated)
new rings
eliminated cats (replaced with mufflers)
eliminated tuning bullet in blanger headers
170 degree thermostat
.080 comp push rods
beehive valve springs
new pusher dual fans from DC performance
cometic head gaskets

It's trick or treat tonight. It will be interesting if I get a trick or a treat when I turn the key.

$6,000 investment
I did all the work!

It went Vrooomm..... It runs great! Not quite legal for the road yet but you should hear the cam lope...

I did a total rebuild in the car. It was not my intention to rebuild. I was just going to do a head job. But I kept finding one more thing wrong to fix.

so how much hp do you think you are putting down?

I don't know yet. I need to get it tuned. I may start working on that next week with DC performance.

I agree it sounds good. I wonder how many time I will get pulled over. This thing is so loud. It sounds better in person than on the video.:headbang:

Sounds great in the video Bolt!! I can attest it does sound even better in person. One of the best sounding vipers I have ever heard.

Can't wait to see it on the road.
