Saturday October 11, 2008 - VCA MN Fall Color Cruise

Get ready for our Fall Color and "final" Cruise of the 2008 driving season. The trees should be looking their best as we make a southern run along the Mississippi River on both the MN and the WI sides. We will have two meeting locations on Saturday October 11th. For those of you in the southern and western suburbs we will meet at the McDonalds on I-35 and Hwy 70 (exit 81) between 10:00 and 10:30 A.M. For those coming from the eastern and northern burbs (including WI) we will meet at the Perkins on Hwy 61 on the right/west side as you come into Red Wing (address is 812 Withers Dr. and phone of 651-385-0783). This meeting location in Red Wing will be 11:00 - 11:15 A.M.

We will depart Red Wing as a group and roll down scenic Hwy 61 to Winona, MN. After a lunch stop in the Winona area we will cross the Mississippi River and head back north on WI Hwy 35. We should be back to our starting locations by about 4:00 P.M. If the weather turns or if we need to cut it short we will alter the route and cross the bridge to WI in Wabasha.

See you all there for our final run of the year! Rain date will be the following day, Sunday October 12th.
