Any one else have a problem with their car attracting bugs, expecailly while washing it? Just wondering if it a problem because of the color or just the shine. I just washed mine today after work and I had more bugs on it while drying it off then I did before I started washing it. Granted there were all still alive and just wipped off or flew away.

Yellow reflects a lot of ultra violet and it looks like a big flower to the bugs, so they all are attracted to it.

Red reflects a lot of radar and it looks like the policeman will meet his quota of tickets this month.

I prefer bugs over tickets, so my Viper is Yellow.

BTW - I bet you don't see bugs on your black stripes, just the rest of your Yellow Viper.

I had noticed it too, it never occured to me it was because of the color.

haha....before I clicked the thread, I knew you had a yellow car. Some say they are faster, but you could relate it to bugs that are attracted to **** J/K :)

Horsefly's, which terrorize horses, seem to attack Corvettes for some reason.
