1. Does the price charged ($600-700 whatever)include the hotel, food etc.?

2. Do they have classroom training on driving?

3. Do they allow you to drive your car on the track after classroom training without instructors?
Are these class sizes limited and if so how can one be sure of getting in one?

Any other commentary on the specifics of the experience is appreciated.

Hi, Paul. Basically, I would say...no, no, and no...with a hedge. There were Tech sessions at VOI.6 during which we could ask questions of Team Viper staff, now PVO folks. There is a small amount of track time (maybe 20 minutes with an instructor who guides you through a few laps on what I woiuld consider a crowded track). In times past there has been autocross for all using Neons, skid pad time in Dodge trucks, drags using your Viper, and autocross uning your own car. AFTER VOI.7 there is a Viper Days event for two days during which time there are classroom sessions on driving and track time with instructors. As one progresses at Viper Days, one can start to solo.

Others may have more info and better insights. I would say that you will have a BLAST if you decide to attend. B:B

The price does not include hotel. It does include meals, entertainment, track time, gift package.

No boring classroom training required.

At St Louis in-car instructors were mandatory and included in the price. I don't know if that will be policy at Nashville. Stick around for Viper Days and drive the track with or without instructors, your choice.

You can hang loose and don't have to worry about babysitting everybody else's kids because kids aren't allowed!!! That was for you Eric.

DO NOT go to VOI thinking that you are going to get a lot of track time. It is NOT a race weekend. The Skip Barber instructors are there to make sure you don't do anything stupid, NOT to "teach you". You may get 9 laps around the track - 3 laps three different times. There will be many other folks out there with you, no passing, some slower some faster...

The VOI experience is so much more than a few laps around a track. It's food, entertainment, access to Team Viper (PVO), tons of vendors, goodie bags, cruises, etc.

If you want track time, classroom instruction, on track instruction - stay after VOI for a 2 day Viper Days - THAT'S the place for instruction and track time - NOT a VOI.

But don't skip VOI - it is truly an experience beyond explanation...

Like Janni said, VOI is so much more than some track time, it is a total immersion in "Viper".... everywhere you go, you'll see Vipers and Viper "Folk". From "sun up" to "lights out" a person who loves Vipers can talk Vipers to their hearts content, and nobody will think them "odd"

The Rumor mill says is there is a possibility that rooms may be part of the package this year, like they were at VOI.II. Information Packages are scheduled to mail to VCA Members late February, so we'll all find out the specifics in a few short weeks.

If you are going to VOI expecting a lot of Viper driving, better plan on getting your seat time to and from Nashville; or, register EARLY for Viper Days.

The VOI is a GREAT experience - **ESPECIALLY** for someone who has never been! The schedule is very crowded and it goes by in a blur.

Just do it!!!

The "admission fee" includes ALL FOOD, beverages, goodies, track time, other great events, and is absolutely MUCH LESS than what Dodge actually invests in these super events!

Your responsibility?

1) Getting there

2) Paying for the accomodations, which are always discounted

3) Keeping your jaw from aching from smiling too much!
