See, that brings the Dobson post into context.

Well this may explain why I have had no communication. I never officially resigned but it does appear that I was removed a few years ago. Thanks for the links.

1/4-20 hex torx with captive washers? Anyone? I'll fly to wherever the nuts and bolts are and sort through them myself. Won't cost you a dime and in fact will save you the cost of disposal.

    Chuck,
I know what you are looking for. The silver bolts that are used on the intake manifold and valve covers. I never found any of those at VPA.

    All-

Bob is right, Jerry was informed in Dec 2013 by Dan that while we appreciate all he had done for the VPA, he would no longer be needed on the board. Herb resigned prior to that. So with the new VCA board takeover, everyone previously on the VPA board was gone.

Jerry- We do appreciate all you did for the VPA during a trying time, and apologize that perhaps our notice in December 2013 was not clear enough.

    Greg

Please...just let it be done. It's closed now, 90% of the people that were involved are now gone.
MAYBE it could have been facilitated in a hand-holding kumbaya love circle...I kinda doubt that. I for one, am happy to see it done. And again, I think it's a step in the right direction by the BoD and VCA Nat officers.

    Robert

Bob, the redirect comment was meant for your post in the other thread about membership #'s. My mistake.

I second that. Job well done. I think it was Bob that said, "When you are up to your ass in alligators it’s difficult to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp."
Was it done to the satisfaction of the membership? Probably not. But it is done. Let the VPA RIP!!

How does the sale of the VPA affect the Hellcat Raffle, if at all. Obviously, everyone would prefer to win the car but there are VPA prizes that are offered as well. Are the second and third place prizes still $4k/$2k cretic area and through who?

    * "Are the second and third place prizes still $4k/$2k certificates..." Not sure how that changed when I typed it.

That's a lot of keystrokes to ask 10 questions. Glad to see Mr. Marshall has finally become an advocate of transparency. I think his 10 questions should be answered on the condition that he will in turn, truthfully answer any 10 questions concerned with his tenure as head of both the VCA and the VPA.

As long as marshall still has a FREE membership and is a member, this club will not be able to grow and move on. Hell, he still has a Venom membership.

don't even own vipers yet they are in good standing with the VCA. I'm a viper owner Multiple and i can't even post a for sale item.

The deal is closed. As Dirk basically said above, time to move on.

All past presidents get a lifetime membership. Believe me, it is a very small gesture for a very difficult job. It's in the by-laws, and really can't be retroactively un-done. Other's have stated they "opt-out", which is a possibility here.

I'm not a fan of censorship, but Chris' comments aren't really pertinent, very divisive, do not assist us in moving forward, highlight a "flaw" with the VCA and it's past, as such that was deleted, and I'm sure many of you will see the irony, he has been place on moderation.

We have ZERO interest in re-hashing by-gone problems with people who left, they don't help the VCA move forward. I really feel like closing this thread, but again, I don't want to quell discussion.

2nd and third places of the raffle are now cash.

LOL except when I post there it's deleted immediately. So "free" speech is not entirely true "free speech that we agree with because it's anti-VCA" is allowed whole-hardheartedly.

I stated the reasons for the deletion, as Granger's post highlight's, Chris is opening a can of worms I believe he will soon wish he had left alone, that helps no one, but he believes it will "exonerate" him... That debate can rage over there, people here are sick of it, and 90% happy that we can close the chapter and move on.

"And things never change" my ass, this is the first deleted post in months, and the first moderation in 6-9, so nice try.

Yeah, your ass alright. I have a PM from you why you deleted a couple of my post. It happens more than what you're saying, lots.

In regards to your posts being deleted (I call BS), but IF it did happen, turn about is fair play. Sucks, doesn't it.

You are obviously upset. Calm down. There are differences in opinions, personalities, and life styles involved. Just go to your respective "safe place" and talk about it to someone who cares.
