And from that this little tidbit regarding weight, which all have been speculating: "In the power-to-weight game, adding 90 hp while holding the weight gain to three pounds hurtles the Viper a notch up on the Corvette Z06." So the car actually did gain a couple pounds or is that just a guess from Automobile? Can't wait for Detroit!

"New hydroformed exhaust headers route spent gases through four catalytic converters and two resonators housed inside the Viper's side sills."

The above, together with the higher compression ratio, 10.2 instead of 9.6 ( as already noted by other posters ), will be a factor in any future supercharging effort. Four cats and two resonators is alot of restriction. By the way, the GKN speed sensing limited slip differential will fit the existing Gen III's. Before you ask, I have no idea how the GKN compares to a Quaife. If anyone knows, please post.

Not sure. Seems like it lost weight in all the right places, though.
Maybe that hood is heavier(?)more bracing because of the cut-outs perhaps.
Back to 2 throtle bodies, a pound or so there. Maybe there is a spare now that the run flats are gone?

Given the different wheel sizes, it'd have to be a temporary spare - even so, where the hell would it fit?. Maybe they'll include a can of Fix-A-Flat or an "On-Star" type system? :nono:
