what do you guys use to clean up your motors???

i see some engine pics of different vipers and the motor is spotless how do you guys clean up the red intake and valve covers so good??

I think what he was asking was what cleaning agent you use on the red powdercoat that cleans, degreases, but yet doesn't fade or remove the powdercoat?

i use WD40 on the valve covers it makes it shine really nice and also keeps the viper logo from turning crappy looking

ya i was talking mainly about the red on the valve covers and intake manifold!! So just some soap and water!

yea, i like using the Orange/Citrus Cleaner/Degreaser type products on the RedEngine. Anything will work though. The Key is using a microfiberr towel that is capable of getting to the valleys of the rough finish.

before doing this, a very quick 1500wetsand of the top keeps her looking :money:
