What is this?

We were working on the 96 RT this weekend and my brother kept mentioning to be careful of the air bag sensor. It finally dawned on me the car does not have air bags. So thus I have a dumb question. What is this stuck to the front facia near the left horn? TIA

It can't be the IAT sensor, can it? That should be on the airbox.

my guess is one of two things:
1, high frequency deer chaser
2. dummy plug to hold daytime running light wiring.
I have no clue, just guessing

Unplug it. See if the car throws a code.

I'm pretty sure that's the IAT sensor, looks exactly the same as the one I had to re-wire on my daily driver.

Yep, the sensor is in this pic on the left.

So what is that a pic of? Is there something there on the Gen II cars? 96 is a Gen 1/2.
