red rt10 (02).I used m105 than 205 on a small section with the PC but I saw little improvement. The car was smooth- the paint was clean.

Any ideas? What COLOR pads do you guys use also? I use LAKE COUNTRY PADS. M105 and orange pad and M205 with white pad.

thats exactly what I used and got good result on black paint, might need a few 205 passes to really get all those micro scratches out

I actually just bought the new ULTIMATE POLISH. Guys on other boards are saying its as good as M105 without the dusting, but not as strong. ultimate polish on ORANGE LC PAD then M205 on LC WHITE PAD?

Also what are you guys using as your final 2 steps? WAX AND SEALANT? I have NXT 2.0 and Collinte 215 PASTE WAX. For sealant or final finishing polish I have MENZERNA FP2.

What setting are you running the RO ? Crank that thing up. Mark the backing plate on the outside edge with a majic marker. BIG DOT.
This will show you how fast the pad is actually spinning. You'd be surprised to see how little it moves on a low setting if you use to much pressure.

I like the Ultimate Compound. That stuff works Fast. Then finish with SwirlX then on to Wax or Sealant. or some cars i skip the swirlX and go straight from the Ultimate to an All-in-one wax like Nufinish.

Here is a couple VERY informative threads about the Mequires Polishes/Compounds that lists them in order of agressivness.

If you are not getting excellent results with M105/205, then you're doing something wrong. Your pad choice comes into question for me. Not the colors, the brand. There are better choices out there.
