Believe it or not, and with all due respect to the photoshop artist, I like the original as the straight cut seems much more aggressive than the radial corner.

Start with the modified version. Raise hood; place fender cover on fender; lean over to check oil; break off rear edge of fender with your weight: PRESTO!!!! Factory version.
