Windshield Protective Film . . .

Saw my clearbra installer at our local auto show today and he was demonstrating a product called Proline Protective Windshield Skin. As the name implies, it's a clearbra-like film, just applied to the windshield to protect from rock chips. Added benefits in the brochure are: reduced glare, increased UV protection for the interior and reduced heat from the sun and scratch resistance. Seems like a good investment for both higher-speed driving and track days but was wondering if anyone had any experiences either good or bad with this or a similar product.
