There will be at least 6 Vipers in the World Challenge race at Road America next weekend. We are the preview race for the CART race on Sunday afternoon, August 3.

If you are interested in attending, you can check out the schedule at www.world-challenge.com. There are 4 practice sessions on Thursday beginning at 8:40 AM. On Friday we have a 1-hour practice session at 1:15 PM. Saturday we have a 9 AM practice and 1 PM qualifying. The 50-minute race is at 11:20 AM Sunday, followed by the CART race at 2 PM. You can purchase tickets/paddock passes either online or at the track.

We would love to have as much Viper support as possible. We will show VCA members the hospitality they deserve. It should be an awesome event! Please consider letting other VCA members know we will be there. Hopefully we will make everybody proud to be a Viper owner. With VRL-elite drivers such as Michael and Jimmy McCann, Bob Woodhouse, and Paul Mumford, there is an excellent chance you will see a Viper on the podium for the first time this year. Hope to see you there. :usa: 84

Frank Parise

Sounds GREAT, Frank...but, sadly, that is also the weekend of the Midwest Zone Rendezvous AND the Brickyard 400...both of which will certainly dilute the Ind/Ky group's presence.

BEST of LUCK to You and your Fellow Viper Drivers !!!

Sounds like a blast! Would have loved to hit the CART event at Road America this year but I had to choose one and Portland won out.

Good luck to everyone competing!

I 2nd Steve's thought - best of luck to all of the CC drivers in WCGT at RA this weekend! Nice to see the cars and the Viper Days front-runners stepping up... McClure's Vette, Fitzgerald's 911, the PTG all-stars, and of course the RS6's will make for VERY tough competition.
