the srt-10 stats are based on the srt-10 convertable, some of these stats may change when the coupe comes out.

.............0-60....1/4....braking 0-60 ft*....slalom...skidpad**..MT8#

srt-10 cp. 3.9....11.8.....97 FT.................70.4.......1.05Gs..... 23.9

ZO6.......3.7*** 11.5*** ?.......................?.............?.................?

the Z06 times are based are estimated by motor trend. prodution times may change

* best production braking time  :usa:
** best (or second best) production skidpad time  :usa:
*** estimated
# motor trends figure eight timed in seconds, second best time out of the current production cars  :usa:

On a side note, I feel people are focusing WAAAAAAAAAAY too much on the HP/TQ thing between the Viper and the Vette. What they should be focusing on is WEIGHT. Increasing HP is only a single increase...accelleration. On the otherhand, Weight Reduction is Threefold; By reducing weight, you simultaneously increase accelleration, decrease braking distances, and increase handling capabilities. A 2900-3100 pound Viper with the current drivetrain and a Comp Coupe Rotor/Oil Pan/Moton setup would dominate damn near everything.

The 2006 Z06 curb weight is 3130 or 280 lbs. lighter than the new Viper coupe.

The brake set up is also pretty neat: 14-inch cross-drilled front disc brakes with six-piston calipers. 13.4 in the back.
