Green, like the Hulk!!! What else?????

Did a quick Google search and only came up with color(s) that magnesium makes when it burns....fun for me, but doesn't answer the question.

You mean nobody on here knows anything about it?

If I would take an educated guess, magnesium is a silver colored metal much like Platinum, so I would imagine it is some sort of silver/gray color.

Yeah, I know, I was thinking that too, but there already IS a 2005 SILVER Viper. The color you're describing, like platinum, I don't ever recall seeing, anybody else? :eater: ~juli

They made Silver, Red, Black and faster yellow in 2005, no other colors, and you could get the mamba edition is silver. Thats was it, no other colors.

If you click on the link in the first post (International Viper Registry), under SRT Roadster...there were 22 MAGNESIUM vipers built in 2005

The year might be wrong but the only thing that comes to mind is the 20 or so vipers that were built by prefix with that special snake hyde interior and snake skin (print not color) stripes. There was one on display at VOI 9 at the SRT ride and drive. There is also one listed in the VCA Classifieds. They did have the blacked out 5 spoke rims.

The color is more of a grey/blue/green pearl blend - see page 4 of the .pdf-

and a PT Cruiser and a couple of 300Ms in magnesium pearl-

If Vipers were made in this color, maybe someone on this board will confirm.

on my website, (dodge viper historical society), i asked the guy who is helping me build my website, to build the graph you are seeing. i am not sure where the "magnesium" came from. i dont remember a magnesium color.

05 colors should be
  • Viper Race Yellow
  • Viper Red
  • Viper Black
  • Copperhead Orange Satin
  • Viper Brite Silver Met
crystal slate color didnt come out till 06.

Nice, so that is your site!

Late last week, I had paint protection film applied to my wheel wells and rocker panels. One of the installers had a sweet looking 05 magnesium pearl (PPK) Dodge Magnum. I asked him if he has ever seen a Viper in that color (given he's sees lots of cars in his line of work and is familiar with the unique color of his own car). He said yes, only once, and the car was from the Newport Beach area.

Dunno, so far, evidence has been inconclusive. The truth is out there...
