Ok guys, my wife and I are having trouble agreeing (imagine that :smirk:) You're input would be appreciated.

My preference: Drivers side more meaty, looks more like a Hot Rod too me.

Her preference: Passenger side less showy, she says more aerodynamic for road racing (hmmm ...yeah right)

Since leaving them different isn't an option, a decision needs to be made. Opinions appreciated (Friends :D, don't make me disable her account). Sorry can't seem to get a poll working following the forum upgrade?

You also don't need a curb feeler hanging out there.... LOL!

Plus, your wife knows me, so I better say she is right.... :rolaugh:

Wow, I appreciate the responses even if its not looking good for the home team!

Wife!! 10 times out of 10.

Is this about taste, or life lessons learned (I'm a slow learner)

The wife is right. Shouldn't you know this by now?

I take it you've been (happily) married for awhile now?

1) Wife always right
2) Flush exhaust tip looks cleaner and more streamlined
3) If in doubt, refer to 1

Hey, how did you learn this ... I didn't think you were married?

Well I'm not afraid of your Wife. :)
I'm on your side.

Now, there's an independant thinker. I'm not sceeeerd either.

It is cheaper to keep her! Her preference

Good point, but maybe at 50 I can afford to trade her in on 2-25's :D

What, you don't like the curb feeler look :dunno: She does carry a big stick :omg:

I need more pics to decide.

Ok, maybe that's the ticket. If some more folks start to come to the dark side with me, I'll post more from other angles.

Sorry to say but the "wife's side" does look better, more of a flush fit

I'm not a 'wife', so I can be objective here.................................................. ;) Flush is always better, and don't believe the pipes sticking out looks hot-roddish--just hot-leggish. *OUCH*

You don't walk around with your dork sticking out all the time do you? Neither should your Viper.

If you are going to run fast or cruise the lovely one in your partnership wins hands down. But, if you are anticipating Chariot Races in the future and want to chew off the rims of your competitors , then by all means go with the extentions, ha.

Sounds like a great time to have his and hers vipers. She can keep hers stock and unchanged as possible, Then you can add big can tips and wheel spinners without having to get permission,, jk naturally but is a thought

Bet you didn't realize you were going to have to buy curb feelers and wheel spinners if you leave them out... I say show the ******** off and leave them out! It's not like the Viper is a subtle car!!! If it were a Buick I would put them flush.

I'm with you Alan, out

You have to try real hard to burn your leg on those, when I get in and out my leg is a foot and a half away from the pipe

I prefer the extended but if I had a Viper wife and she wanted the flush look I'd give in this time. A Viper chick is something to be appreciated.

I appreciate all of the input! It looks like I was taking a true smack down up front, but towards the end some folks started to agree with me, over-all I believe she's won this battle (but not the war). I do appreciate my Viper chick wife (and all Viper chicks for that matter) and being 'our' car we should both have input. But, when we come to a disagreement, it's nice to have a venue to get other opinions :)

You guys/gals crack me up with the chariot, spinners, curb feeler, comments :D I guess we all have different tastes, which is cool, after-all it wouldn't be much fun if we all drove B/W GTS's. I've always loved cars with side pipes (Cobras, Stingrays, etc.) and now that I have one, I just thought it would be nice to show the pipes off a bit.

I'll post a few more pics this weekend from other angles, so those interested can see it and make up their own mind. I guess I just liked the splash of chrome, the dimension added to the side, and the angle cut on the tip which I think looks pretty bad asp. Maybe some votes will be swayed, if not she wins... hands down.
