Sad Day in North & Central FL
It was a very sad day Saturday to learn that one of our VERY FIRST members to the club had passed away. Allen R. Henning, 62, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away Friday evening. It's Saturday afternoon and we are home in ORLANDO.....YEAH!!!! Gary is VERY tired, swollen, bruised and his voice is still not back, but boy is nice to be home. Prayers for Gary....
GREAT NEWS!!!!! They released Gary from the hospital today and we are back at the Hotel, he is extremely tired but so HAPPY to be out of the hospital. This throat/voice are still very sore and he can barely talk over a whisper, but is still trying to be "in charge"....LOL on that one right now...- EALASH

We are making PROGRESS!!!! Gary was moved from ICU this afternoon to a regular room. He has started some Physical Therapy, and they got him up and out of bed this morning (that was lots of fun). They then moved him to a private room, got him in bed and he was about to drift off almost...- EALASH

Gary is still in ICU, however they did remove his breathing tube today and he is doing very well with that. He can finally TALK a little now. They are still watching kidney functiion and major bruising situation but we are seeing improvements steadily. We are hoping to have him out of ICU in...- EALASH

I very quick update....I just spoke with Gary's ICU nurse, he had a pretty good night and they are getting ready to remove the breathing tube.
