yup, eBay needs a "Thank you jesus" level of feedback :-) only way I can justify owning this car is by keeping it in great shape with my two hands, as well as keeping my daily driver (2000 F150) running by myself! these forums are a big help!
thanks guys. $14 and a bunch of bloody knuckles and it's working. I'm afraid to roll it all the way down. It almost looks like the rail position isn't optimal on the lower window position, and it puts a lot of strain on that shuttle. I managed to get the clip installed without removing the...
passenger window does not work as it should any more. the part that attaches the bottom of the window and to the power slider/rail is busted. anybody know the name or part number?
I tried to attach a pic, but this photo software is making me want to pull out all my hair... :-(

My drivers door was starting to sag. thanks to this site I decided I better nip it in the bud before it did more damage. I used a floor jack, a small piece of lumber and did it myself without much fuss. While I was tinkering on the car, I decided to try and fix the dome light that only came on...
My car has been ******* batteries. maybe a combination of the Texas heat and a slow drain and the car doesn't get lot of drive time. last year I upgraded to the Autocraft Platinum AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery at Advance Auto Parts. So far, i'm happy with it's performance.
I am also intersted in such a wheel. esepcially now that the 335/35r17 tires are getting harder to find and pretty pricey. I like the stock wheel look.
my battery is shagged again. hoepfully it's at least got some warranty left. Even on the trickle charge, when it says it's charged, it will not turn the motor over. Must have lost a cell. I'll replace the battery next week and beging looking for the killer next week.
I was feeling pretty good about the car recently, after getting the A/C 0-rings replaced and getting the 998 recall sorted out. but then driving home last night, I stopped for beer, left the fog lights on with the car off for about 5 minutes and the car would not start.
For the better part...
Car repaired by the local Dodge dealer, covered by Dodge. So, at least now I know it has fresh oil and and a new oil filter :-) I have yet to get the car up on jack stands and inspect their work. I'm almost afraid to and I've been quite busy with other summer stuff. But the A/C is blowing...
at least I got the O-ring fix done on the A/C compressor. Now she's blowing frosty cold. we'll see if it lasts. $4 in o-rings and I already had 2 cans of freon here :-) also added some oil as recommened by the advance auto dude.
I'll check with my loacl Dodge dealer on the gusset fix!
it was reported to have an oil change just prior to my purchase 2 years ago (at that point the car had 7600 miles). probably had one change before the recall then one about 7600 miles, sticker in the window matches what the seller says. i'm guessing wherever he went, the clowns just changed the...
wow. the day just keeps getting better. I went back under to see if I could manage to get the filter out another way. I hit my lip on the cowling then ****** back and busted my head on the concrete. Good times! now I got a fat lip and a knot on my head. I picked the wrong day to take a...
I went to do an oil change today and realized I cannot remove the oil filter :-( Of course, I find the very frustrating explanation here. Appears they put the gussets in backwards as several other folks have also suffered.
Has anybody had luck with getting Dodge to make this right? It's...
