It's 40,000 miles ago when I installed the system and I can't remember exactly, but I think there were a pair of bolts under the LH used to secure the inner body panels to the frame under the fender panel. I just removed and sandwiched the box mount into them.

I have a Gen III. The actuator box mounted under the LH panel below the fender. I didn't need to drill any holes. The hardest part was fishing the cables through the firewall and mounting the cable end to the gas pedal.
