    Never titled 1992 Vipers $200K

An original unrestored red 1970 LS 6 Chevelle with 29 documented miles sold for over 300K about a year ago. I saw the car it was the real deal. I have often wondered why low mile pristine 92s are not selling right now for 100K given their historical significance? Their time will come someday.

800HP Shelby for 2012 I hope the Viper tops it

I guess the base model Mustang could be considered pretty ordinary? Over the past couple of years Ford has really improved the Mustang it's quality and fit and finish. The 2011 Mustang GT at 400 HP is a heck of a car. The 550 HP Shelby GT 500 is a terrific car. The Shelby Mustangs produced from...

800HP Shelby for 2012 I hope the Viper tops it

I also own a couple of Shelby Supernakes. A 2008 with the 725 HP version and an 09 Shelby/Prudomme drag version at 800 HP. A can offer a couple of observations as owners of both Viper sand Shelbys. The Shelby's have no traction the HP simply overwhelms the car and the folks at Shelby realize...

2002 ACR Final Edition... Anybody Here ?

Well said and to add to your observations several Vipers sell for more than their MSRP right now. For example the 92 RT 10s, 98 GT2s, 97 B/W RT 10s, some Vipers sell for their MSRP in low mile unmodified form such as the 96 B/W GTS maybe i have missed a few ? Lets not forget it wasn't that...

2002 ACR Final Edition... Anybody Here ?

Did you notice the other cars in his garage? I wonder if that red Trans Am is a 73/74 Super Duty? He also has a 70/71/72 Blue and white T/A

2002 ACR Final Edition... Anybody Here ?

I have to respectfully disagree with JonB in this rare instance which almost never happens given his expansive Viper history. While other 02 ACRs were built in less volume and are therefore more rare it has been my experience that being more rare doesn't always mean more valuable? In many...

    1998 Dodge Viper GT2

The Barrett Jackson car sold for 95K all in and remember it was a no reserve auction. Buyer would have netted 10% less plus other costs. These cars are going nowhere but up in terms of long term values. The low mile 22 mile GT2 Bernie has, was bought new in Vegas never left and actually never...

Considering selling the Viper for a Ford GT. Opinions

Frank, I do drive my FGT and really enjoy it there is not another car that feels and drives quite like it. I just spoke with a local tuner about some mods but I am not sure if I want to change it from factory original or not? I have also spoke to the Shelby mod shop here in town about some mods...

Considering selling the Viper for a Ford GT. Opinions

My stock FGT is not faster than my stock gen 4 Viper but clearly faster than my gen 3 in informal side by side street tests. Obviously off the line from a dead stop the FGT has a slight advantage but my gen 4 Viper has always easily caught up and passed my FGT? These are my experiences and are...

Considering selling the Viper for a Ford GT. Opinions

I presently own both an 08 Viper and 06 FGT and bought both new. I wouldn't sell a Viper for a FGT. As an owner of both it's my opinion the Viper simply outperforms the FGT in every respect except that of looks. While cosmetics are always subjective the FGT is arguably one of the most beautiful...

Is it really that rare compared to the rest? VOI 10?

I couldn't agree more. Dodge has really gone all out to create "special editions" as well as provide tools to create one of one Vipers. Right now they are not adding anything to resale value. Did you ever connect with the collector in CA with the original item for your 92?

Is it really that rare compared to the rest? VOI 10?

Were these cars built in sequential order? Is # 77 the last one built or just tagged as #77?

Is it really that rare compared to the rest? VOI 10?

So this is the only silver coupe since 1999?? I can't remember another silver coupe since then? What is a market correct price for a new one right now?

Is it really that rare compared to the rest? VOI 10?

My memory is probably off so you guys can correct me. But I don't think Dodge offered silver in 09 other than on this car? The last silver Viper I can remember was in 99? But that can't be right???

    How many 92s here?

#002 does not have the original block in it. The original is on a collectors stand somewhere. The car has about 7300 miles on it. Its my understanding Bob Lutz knows who has the original block so it shouldn't be too difficult to find it and buy it. Its amazing to me that in 1992 that Dodge...
