Cryo treatment for auto parts?

i dont know if any of yall have heard about this, but its pretty amazing technology. Heres some info i found.

Cryotreated Differntial/Transmission:

If anyone knows anything about it or has tried if can you post some information and costs involved and locations that might be able to do this?

Yea, i just did a search and found no one had tried it except with brake rotors.

I would assume whats good for the goose is good for the gander type of logic. Parts that could ***** under stress would benefit. A crank, rods, piston, head, head gasket or otherwise (metal of course), but i guess specifically for me or anyone using forced induction, turbo applications. Like the turbine propellers, shaft, housing, or a blower perhaps, same principal, the propellers, and shaft and what not.
I have a friend who used cryo treated rotors and he stated that thye did last longer than normal ones under severe wear and tear.

Im curious to see if anyone has tried it on anythign else other than rotors. I dont see how it could be a bad thing.

A couple other applications I'm aware of:

Paxton cryo-treats the impeller on the racing version of their Novi 2000 supercharger.

UNITRAX cryo-treats their medium-duty Viper half-shafts.

im assuming he means cryo treating the parts before assembly..

can you please fill us cryo-knowlege deprived folk in on some of the details of your endeavors, and any test results you may have concluded?
