TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AND THE GAUGES AND TURN SIGNALS WORK FINE!

I WOULD HATE TO HAVE TO LEAVE THE CAR AT THE DEALER THE DAY AFTER I GOT IT..

PLEASE EMAIL TO [email protected] LEAVE POST ON THIS SITE..

ALSO IS A TEAR IN THE EDGE OF THE SOFT TOP COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

It is down at your left foot when you sit in the car. Reach under there and start jiggling wires while your lights are on you should find it. You do not have to take the dash apart but it would help if you are double jointed - john

Are you sure your dashboard light dimmer is not set too low? If the dimmer is set kind of low, when the headlights are turned on and pull all that current to run, the dash board lights may not be as bright or may appear to go out completely. Turn the dimmer all the way up and see what happens when you turn the headlights on. I think this happened to me last year and I freaked out at first until I turned the dimmer up.

THANKS GUYS! YOU WERE RIGHT!!! THE GROUND UNDER THE DASH ON THE DRIVERS "A" PILLAR WAS LOOSE!

I HAD TO REMOVE THE BOTTOM OF THE DASH TO FIND THE PROBLEM.. THE GROUND CONNECTION WAS MOVING AROUND UNDER THE NUT! THE NUT FELT LIKE IT WAS TIGHT BUT NEEDED ANOTHER FULL TURN!..

NOW I CAN DRIVE THE CAR AT NIGHT AND HAVE THE TACH AND SPEEDO WORKING!

SHIFTING WHEN I HIT THE REV LIMITER WAS FUN BUT A LITTLE SCARY AT NIGHT ON TIGHT CANYON ROADS IN THE RAIN..

I RECENTLY SOLD MY ORIGINAL 1966 427 COBRA.. I DROVE AND RACED IT FOR OVER 15 YEARS...(500 HP+ 500 LBS TORQUE IN A 2250 LB CAR!) ON VINTAGE RUBBER!

A 427 COBRA IS ABOUT AS RADICAL AS IT GETS.. SHORT OF A FULL RACE CAR...

I LOVE THE VIPER! BUT AFTER THE COBRA IT'S PRETTY MELLOW...
