It was a wet rainy New Years Eve. I traveled on miles of mucky dirt road that was partially under water to a private lake to get to the party that we were attending. No place for the old Viper the water would have came in the doors had I taken it. (NO DIRT ROADS) I think we took the appropriate vehicle for the excursion, these are really just the best sports utility vehicle for the $$$ and the touch screen Nav system works great. Shout when you are ready for yours!!! Sorry just a great opportunity to plug my own product.

I opened this thread up to view a Viper dirtier than mine. What a disappointment! I'll never get all the mud out from the bog and grog escapade in Texas!

Shall I call your local Chevy Dealer and get it out of the shop for you (that is where most Chevy products spend half there life) so that you may come give it a try. Then I will do you the courtesy of calling them to reschedule you an appointment to have that substandard rust bucket fixed again once I GET THROUGH WITH IT. Apologies to any one who owns a burb and does not think that it is King of the hill. No flame intended

I just checked out Consumer Guide. http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/new/reviews/summ/index.cfm/id/20795.htm
I not only found that they rate the 2002, 4wd Suburban slightly higher than your Land Cruiser, I found that the MSRP seems to be about $10k less for the Chevy.
I still think that the Suburban will pull your truck in half. I think your accusations of unreliability are unsupportable.
If you don't like the Suburban comparison, I don't think you would do any better against one of the big Ford SUVs.
I think you are lucky that this thread was moved to where no one will see it.
Your last post sounded like you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to reliability. If you have any independent data to back up your words, let's see it.

Consumer guide??? What kind of CRAP is that. Please come on now a Burb does not even class with the Landcruiser. Those guides are only for people who belive everything they read. The best source is "Consumer Reports" and they may even rate your Burb a better buy for the money, I don't know. I look at it this way if you can afford it Buy The Best Then Don't Settle For The Rest. I am not trying to pick a fight here but you really can't be serious about Chevy building a "BETTER" S.U.V that Toyota. Toyota spends Millions of Dollars to ensure that what I am telling you is true. I have been to the Demo's and watched the comparisons. These events are put on by Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Automobile Magazine ect, ect, ect.... These are fair compares and The Land Rover, Range Rover and Lexus LX470 is the only Vehicles that even compares as equals. So don't chime on what you don't know! Cheers!!
