There was a post called "CAAP Picture" that has mysteriously disappeared. The picture was of two Silver SRT-10s'. Is this something were not supposed to see?(I saved the JPEG anyway).
Does anyone know what colors will be available or is this still secret?

To 01-rt/10 You asked "what's this" when you posted the picture of the silver 2003 Viper. I know what it is. Can you say crash test dummy?
If I had to guess, and this is ONLY a guess I haven't heard anything, yet. I'd say a few of the colors that the SRT, VGX, or what ever you call it is going to be red and silver. Well those are the ones I like.

Thomas a.k.a.

P.S. These are only guesses. I have NOT heard anything as to what colors they're even thinking about useing.

Tony, Joe, Chris, could you comment on why the silver picture was pulled? If I have to decide on Monday what color when I fill the form out, it would sure be nice to see it! Especially if some of us already have seen it. I would lean towards silver, but there sure are a lot of shades of silver, some I love others I hate. I can see no reason DC would have a problem with us seeing it, if they are giving us first shot, we've seen the red, we've seen the graphite, c'mon I wanna see the silver! Anyone who saved the jpeg, could you please email it to me.

If color is what you are waiting for then you are in luck. The color information will be out soon. And it will be before the deadline for submitting your certificate.

I hope this makes it clear: You have until Jan 11 to get the certificate. But then you have until Feb 28th to make your deal with your dealer.

So anyone not sure has nothing to worry about because all the information you are asking for will be available more than a month before you have to submit.

As for post's on the site? If it was a photo from within CAAP, and the VCA does not have permission to post, then it can't be on the VCA web-site. Now if you are referring to something else then excuse me for this last reply?

Go to the other topic, and you'll see the new info:

COLORS .....

RED

SILVER

GRAPHITE

Although official, Dodge retains the right to alter these colors in the future, but you will have to select from the three when you order your SRT-10.

Joe, thank you for your response. Things are becoming clearer in the last several hours. If I can see a silver picture before Jan 11, I'm a happy puppy, but let's be realistic on Jan 12 the lines will be forming at the dealers. Anyone not ready with color choice at that time is going to the end of the line, right? My deposit has been at Woodchuck motors for a very long time, and as a long time purveyor of this sort of game I can assure you that color availibility will be a major part of getting one of these babies quickly. And I don't know whether the silver picture was taken at capp, that's what I was asking all you big wheels. All I knoe is I did'nt see it. Did somebody jump the gun in taking it off, why is it off? Moderators I ask you again?

VM and myself are friends and he explained it to me, if anyone should have a problem with the thread being deleted it should be me, I have no problem what so ever.

Rules are rules and should be followed, as I understand DC does a ton for this site and us, I respect their wishes. There other sites which have no support for DC products, Like: www.prowleronline.com but we have a person heavily contected and get some scoops before anyone else. That's where I saw the picture of err,,,, never mind,

.

I am going to the Garage and look at my New Viper. Thanks for listening. This is a great site.

Thanks, GaryC. With respect, to Vipermad and Joe, I was asking if the problem was because the pic. was from caap. Joe's response was "if the picture was from caap".... that's not an answer. VM ,Very interesting to see your post right under the pic. Why could'nt I just have gotten a private email, everybody but me sure knew where it was! I respect DC and the rules, I will shut up now.
