Checked out and RT today from E-bay....

And all I can say is that this thing looked like it needed some work. To start things off, it had a lot of scratches all over. The top of the sport bar was all scratched up (dont know if this is normal for an RT?). It didnt have the soft top and the hood didnt close right. It actually touched the headlight. But, the one thing that made me almost shed a tear was, THERE WAS HOLES DRILLED IN THE FRONT FACSIA FOR A LISCENSE PLATE!! I told the dealer that he needed to get that fixed and that it was a BIG Viper NO-NO. The fron of the fascia was also scrapped up a lot on the bottom(I know thats going to happen). This was the first time I had seen a yellow RT up close and personal and all I have to say is, the RT looks wonderful in this color!

This car actually came from a delaer in Dallas. Is this your old RT BIG?

Nah, I don't think that's my old one. Mine would be a good one to get though! It's got a very strong engine, and a new tranny. It had new Forgelines too!

If you need a front plate, you drill a couple little holes to mount it, BFD. It's a CAR, in some places you need a front plate. You drill a couple of small holes and mount the plate.
If you don't need a front plate and you have holes, you take it to a body shop and they fix it for very little. It's no big deal. It's a non issue.
Please don't cry, Jeez.

Hey, theres plate holders for the Viper, not many but, there are a few. The sheding of a tear is just a figure of speech. JEEEEZZZZ!!! lol... Anyway, I think if theres something out there to hold your plate, DONT DRILL HOLES IN THE D@MN THING!!

That is probably because this car was a daily driver. Looks at the mileage. Some people drive these cars everyday and just treat them like a normal car. I know mine has quite a few scratches but I am going to have them all taken out next week. So people actually drive these cars. LOL!! Besides what is the point of just letting them sit and look nice. I would rather drive it which I do. About 50 miles a day. Just gotta love it. Enjoy life!

I understand the daily driver issue and I will drive mine all the time as well but, dont treat it like ****! lol... I guess they didnt care.

I like the car, but a dealer should know to fix the scratches and other minor stuff, the front plate thing isn't a big deal.

Ill be in the market in a few months looking for a yellow or black rt10, aftermarket wheels would be nice.

I've got a stock front plate holder. You need to drill holes to mount it.
Considering how small and easy to fix, any mounting holes would be, I just don't understand why anyone would not do it if they need a front plate.

The car look's MUCH better without a front plate but I don't write the laws and I'm not going to drive around begging to be stopped by any cop who want's to mess with me.

I don't think the suction cup mounted front plate holder stays on well enough.
