THE Dodge Tomahawk is being offered for sale in the Nieman Marcus Christmas Book. See page 61. Asking price is $555,000.00. Not intended to be street legal. Advertised as being the vehicle from the 2003 NAIA Show.

If you can't afford it yourself, maybe your company will buy it as a show piece for the lobby or you can form a limited liability partnership with your friends and each pitch in part of the price! Here's your chance.

This is what pi-ss-es me off about this vehicle. I saw it at Detroit and it was awesome. But every show, and person at the show "quoted" it would be at $150,000 - $250,000. Now its $300,000 more then that. Not that they won't sell, but why the heck does DC do this? Now, any moderately wealthy person who wanted one probably won't be able to afford it. $550,000 retail MSRP is a lot. I don't want to know how much the auction prices, and bid / counterbid wars are gonna raise it to. But duh, if I had the money, I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Francisco... That price includes the tax. I'm sure that's why it's so much higher. :)

I sat on one and I can say that anyone who would take one out for a ride would be a Darwin award candidate. $550,000 for a motorcycle sculpture. Yeh right! It is a beautiful piece of work but I cannot see why anyone would spend that amount of money. An Enzo would be so much more practical (never thought I would say Enzo and practical in the same sentence).

Great idea! I have some space in the lobby in-between my Enzo and Diablo.

Gee, could Nieman's possibly be trying to mark up the theoretical MSRP by 100% ? Maybe they've learned something from some of the less scrupulous car dealers?

The Viper scared the whizz out of me the first week. The nitrous got my attention when I forgot to turn it off for the burnout(sideways). The Tomahawk would have to come with diapers for me.
Ya know, Mumford would have ridden it.

lol...I would buy one in a second. However, a motorcycle with a top speed of over 300mph, and a 0-60 in less then 2 seconds...that's freaking scary as hell.
