My car is a 1993RT/10 with 410HP/477TQ as is.

I have the stock rearend and bought also complete 3.55 rear end.
If I would use the NX Express system with 150 or 200HP shot, which rear end makes more sence?
Does the car come unusable with the 3.55's?

Thanks, Lauri

well with the stock gears you will be able to spray longer in every gear and with the 355's you will be shifting too fast and you wont be using the nitrous to the fullest

I have 3.45's and Nitrous...it rocks...on the street I stick just fine on Pilots...at the drags, I use BFG drag radials for traction...

To me, the cars with stock gears just feel slow....

you better be more specific, there is no viper with 3.45 on the juice that has traction in first/second on pilots. Tell him the truth that you have traction in sixth gear.

but the longer you are running the nitrous in one gear the faster the car is going to be. you are able to use the nitrous for a longer period of time and the car pulls harder for that period of time.ask the nitrious guys like Tom at BTR that runs consistant mid 9's what he uses

3.33's...Why don't you ask BTR what they are running...

If you want big fun and don't care about 1/4mi.Thats a good combo_Off the juice 355's are fun.On the juice you'll be shifting into 5th(*****)top end.I tried em and have settled with 3.33's.

My Gen I has about 525 RWHP on motor alone and 782 when sprayed with a 300 shot (that's 1050 rear wheel torque to boot) and it hooks good in 3rd gear on 19 inch pilots. No good in 2nd gear. Oh, the car has 3:55 gears.

Listen to TOOOFAST he knows what he is talking about. By the way Scott, come with ideas to the next meeting with what you can (or will) do to my car for more HP.

I may be now even more confused than before?

1) 3.55's are great without NOS
2) 3.33 OR 3.07 may be better for MPH at 1/4 mile (longer spraytime)
3) It MAY be possible to run NOS with 3.55's, but that may work work with 3rd, 4th and 5th gears

Crap.
Now I have to either abandon Nitrous or the gears....

I'll let you guys know how it works out when I go to Pocono next month on the 30th. I just put in 3.55's and have an Nx system, 150 shot on my [******] 2000RT/10. Can't wait to spray in fifth heading down the back straight, on my new Hoosiers, braking with my new Stop Tech rotors, and S.S. brake lines, and some set of balls.

I may have to run over the cones at the end before the left into the infeild. Hope not.

I have 3.45's and use the 200 shot. I do have traction issues in 3rd - but the car is accelerating. I only use the Nitrous in roll on situations, so I can not speak of what would happen from a dig or in 2nd gear. I gave serious consideration to going back to the 3.07. But for me, the better acceleration on just motor is why I will not go back.

Regards,
