650 rwhp 408ci Procharged Z06 vs Viper. The Vette had been dynoing that day and was headed back to Tn. from Atlanta. Who's Viper  to bad the tag is blocked. Watch the speedo climb........then at the end, note his radar detector start going off. The detector in the Viper went full scale coasting down through 110mph followed by brake lights in the oncoming lane. Video was done by the z06 crew, please note the drop down at the end......the reply when asked was: yes.....no.....maybe.....maybe not :)

Sweet video. Love the part when you hear the snake comming then he just walks him. Not too shabby on the Vette's part though, would have walked 90% of whats on the street.

The drop down/video was done by the owners buddy, the Z06 owner didn't know he was going to do that, he is really a cool guy and made no excuses. I did not realize Z06's were as light as they are. The Viper driver  was dum enough to carry a passenger too.

dammit.....I mean DUMB

Was that a Mustang that passed the Vette at the end of the race?

Boring video. 2 minutes of crap and 30 sec of bad driving by the Vette. Even sounds like he missed the last shift. Vipers rule.

Tony, so you had to spray on TOP of your already Super Charged car ? I mean, winning is winning. But you had to pull out all the stops to beat him, that kinda *****. I would think a super charged viper would beat a comparable supercharged Vette.

Kick down the details, or I am going to smash into you at the next v-10 nats (talking about go karts of course).

That was me doing a double take on forth gear, not the Vette. The Cobra was behind and only came around the Vette when the Vette let out. The Cobra is a s/c 03 with more boost and a little n02 shot. Blue lights, after I saw brake lights I though it was my duty to get off the private track asap in case he needed to arrest these idiots

Stu, Roe s/c, little n02, stock motor.

Jon, Like I told the local guys after the race :) you can't show all your cards....keep em guessing. The Z06 owner didn't ask and doesn't care. Just like I didn't inquire about how big his motor is, how much boost or nitrous. I think he has a small shot on it but it's not working. A Z06 should have been about 500 lbs lighter than the Viper.

He dynoed that day and made 650 rwhp and 605rwtq. My s/c only numbers were 624 rwhp and 642rwtq. Will the torque and my superior driving  make up the hp difference ???? Hmmm, who knows

lol, I got ya. You are a street racer. Its all about winning. I just know that monster of yours is quick !

Thats cool as $hit that you hauled ASP to help clear the high way incase the police needed to do a high speed pursuit. Its good Wholesome Americans like you, that make this country great. Where else do citizens clear off the road completely to aid the local authorities !! :)

Hey I'm with ya on Tony kickin butt. But the 3.42 gearing doesnt quite help you out on the street, when your power levels are in the 600+ range, it hurts you, but over multiplying your power to the ground. I had 3.55's in my viper, then went back to 3.07s just to manage the excess power my SC made.

Win is a Win.. good job.

No, that was a blue car in Bradenton that clicked off the 9.8. And he had north of 700rwhp.

The Z06 has a different tranny than the regular c5 so it pulls like it has 3.90s on. The vettes love the gearing as they are not torque monsters like the viper ;) Also the race was from a roll, where they both seemed to have good traction  Believe me I had the 3.55s on the viper too but yanked them out with the sc install also. I also had 4.10s on my old vette pushing 580rwhp and it was just fine by me :D Vettes need the tq multipication that the gears give them :p

To be more accurate Sapphire or very dark blue and with both were ZO6, the Sapphire was a Georgia Vette.

Well Cudaman, if we are talking accuracy, I'm going to pull out some worthless information gained in my poor, slow past and tell you that it was an Electron Blue Z06. Whatcha think about that!?!
