I think he bought a Viper didn't he? Or did he just get a job and was going to buy one soon?
I might just have missed his posts but it seems like he's gone.

I think he is now employed and adjusting to regular working hours. Giving up the student life is tough. I wish him well. I think he will be back. I volunteered via a pm to help him check out a couple of cars that seemed too good to be true. We had a couple of fun phone conversations/coaching lessons in how to deal with the typical dealer/salvage title/rebop situation. Very nice guy and very bright for his years. My bet is he's gonna make some serious money and be back here with a Viper. It's one of his life goals. I predict he will do well in the business world based on both my conversations with him and his ability to talk intelligently here.

Sorry, but if he gets a Vette I will run him off the road (after racing him by starting off in third gear after pulling two plug wires).
Cisco, youse better keep that Corvette on your side of the river. (There are more Vettes here than cicadas!)
I don't care what kind of great deal you got.
(This HAS to be the reason he is laying low.)

I think we have all spent some time with him over the last year. Your right Lee he is wise beyond his years.

Graphite, don't beat them up too much. For many of us, at one point, the Vette was the right car at the right time. I recommended he buy one with his current situation. You can't fault good homework and better intentions.

Love to see him in a Viper. Love to see lots of people in a snake, but it is not always the best choice.

I would however enjoy hearing whatever decision he made.

He talked with me about getting a used Hummer - the BIG one - and I reminded him about getting a Viper was his dream, not an H1 Hummer. I think he'll regain his senses and get the Viper just for fuel economy over the Hummer.

I certainly wish him the best as his goal and mine are the same. I'll just have to wait a little longer. Gotta wait till I get a new house with a garage. But make no mistake it will happen.

I got a car before a house.
It was a no-brainer: You can't DRIVE a HOUSE.
Come on, Sam from Vegas - chime in here; help me out.

Toby,
Please don't even think that.
If I'm going on for 1000 posts about how I love Vipers, I'd get one even if I had changed my mind.
There gave been a lot of guys willing to help in various ways.
