Just to give anyone who is not willing to listen to this public service announcement and public rant, click the X button in the top right hand corner of your screen now.

Today was a slight cooler day than usual, so i think to myself (Let's take the Viper out for a nice Friday afternoon cruise.) Upon enjoying the bumper to bumper traffic on a normally fast tracking highway of Penn. Ave route 4 today (beating head on steering wheel) Once traffic allows for an opening for me to gently kick into 2nd gear and rip in front of everyone for once - I jump on the opportunity. So im flying through everyone finally giving myself and the Viper some breathing room and i notice to the right where everyone is getting off the ramp, here comes a giant hubcab that just flew off of some ricebox and is coming right for the Viper.

I downshift as im in 3rd gear to 2nd, gently apply the brakes, the hubcab is turning left towards me even further, i hit brakes harder, giving the greenstuff pads more fury than it probably was ever meant for and............. i just by the hair of my front bumper missed the hubcap. I look in the rearview mirror observing the toyota tacoma nearly going sideways, so i stomp on the gas in 2nd and scream up the highway bowing my head in thanking god for giving me my life and Viper back in once piece.

I get about 10 mins from my house and while sitting at the light, i see this Honda Accord come accross two lanes of traffic, through the light and smash into a Ford Explorer in the intersection. Shaking my head as im the 4th car from the light, i drive the Viper home safely as i can and put her up for the night!

The moral of this story is : Get your sh*t boxes off the road or remove your fake autozone spinner hubcaps that look like asp anyway. Stickers are your best option in this matter.

Rant Over!

I feel better now ......

No doubt, the biggest threat we face is the moronic drivers out there! I've had crap fall out of the back of pickups and smash the grill of my daily driver, lots of other road hazard impacts...
But the biggest factor, by far, is just the ***** who doesn't have a clue how to drive and shouldn't be on the road. Old people are the worst. Rant over.

Other drivers **** lol. Last night I'm helping a friend from college move to a new apt and his friend is in front of me with his pickup full of stuff. We were going about the speed limit, but this dude in a new M3 was riding my ass so I slammned on the brakes a few times, he kept on it and would haul ass up to my **** untill I hit the brakes each time. I stuck my hand out and shot him the bird, at which time he looked over to pass and must have pulled the wheel to the left when looking over and nailed the curb/median. The whole lower side of the car was torn apart and both left side wheels looked like they were disintigrated. Oh well, dumbazz.

And about the fake spinner thing, had some Stang (V6) pull next to me today, light blue (with 2 gangster wannabe's inside) with like 15" hubcaps and spinners from autozone or whatever. They stuck out a few inches from the wheel, looked ********, if it came loose the damn thing could decapitate somebody lol.

Y'know what the difference is between BMW's and porcupines, don't you?
With porcupines, the pricks are on the outside!

1MEANSNAKE, Sounds like it was one of those days, when the forces were warring in the nether regions, and the vortex created by the fury was threatening to **** you into its death spiral.

Same thing happened to me last night pretty much..except there's no Viper involved...

I was driving home down a bumpy road in my car and couldn't figure out why there was a line of about 10 cars doing half the speed limit. I pull out into the oncoming lane and I see some guy in a POS truck pulling another POS truck on a car dolley. I got back into the line of cars and just kept driving. Then all of a sudden there was this huge piece of rusted metal right in my path. Because we were essentially in 15 mph bumper to bumper traffic I had no time to avoid this chunk of metal so I drove over it with it between my tires and oped for the best. As it turned out my car didn't have the clearance I needed and it got stuck under my car. By now I was fuming so I picked up the piece of metal, jumped in the car and tracked down the guy who dropped it. I stopped him on a busy street and confronted him. He didn't act surprised and was pretty much being a dick about it. I threw the piece of scrap onto the back of his truck but it slid off onto the side of the road. I told him I ws going to call the cops and report him and he said "fine go ahead" at that point I picked up the piece of metal and drove to the police station to report it along with his plate number. The cop took a statement then went to pay him a visit and slap him with a $375 fine for failing to secure a load. Made my weekend

The junk off the truck thing needs to be stopped ...the fines need to be stiff and enforced.
I hit a concrete block that fell off a truck at 70 MPH on my Harley 2 years ago..I launched from the bike. I'm glad all I have to show now is a plate and screws for a collar bone and some new front teeth (wasn't even Christmas)!
Yes, I was wearing a helmet (or I'd be dead) but not a full face...hence no teeth (the handlebars apparently kicked up when I hit the cement block and knocked out the teeth).
The good news is that my wife says the new ones look better!

Yeh, crap flying out of trucks or loose debris is extremely dangerous. Remember that young girl (think around 12 or so) that was driving with her family awhile back and some metal rod or something fell off a truck and was kicked up by another vehicle, it hit the girls vehicle and went through the windshield impaling her to the seat, luckily she survived, but could you imagine something like that happeneing to you or espeically your young daughter/son?
