A/C doesn't work

A/C doesn\'t work

I had my SRT in for the cam recall. Now I noticed the A/C no longer works. Is it possible that they could have missed hooking something back up? The A/C light comes on when I press the A/C button but all I get is hot air.

I'll have to take it back the first chance I get i guess.

There is a plug on the compressor that they may have left undone. That seems to be the only thing I can think it would be,

Funny thing, my A/C is not not working to well as of today.

I really hate to take my car to the dealer for minor things, but the cam thing was a bit much. It's a big hassle.

ps, did they say the cam bolts were loose?

I just received my car back last night for the same cam bolt repair. My AC did
not work either. Yes it was the AC clutch plug left undone. Plugs in right
next to the serpentine belt. Works fine now but it was a hot ride home not working.

The guy said that the cam bolts were all okay. Just not as tight as it should have been.
I'll try the A/C plug and see if that,s the case.

You'd think they would pay a little more attention ha?

Just think about it, this pretty much proves they weren't out cruising,(long test drive). They would have caught it then.

But shurly you guy's check your mileage before your car goe's in.

I guess I got lucky. My AC was not working when I took it in for the cam bolt issue. They had to check it before i picked it up.

They only put 4 miles on mine, I'm ok with that.

No cam issue here but suddenly, no A/C (actually, no fan to be precise).
The A/C light comes on but it won't blow cold (or hot). Guessing it's probably a bad fan switch???
