So true! The cost to field a competitive WCGT car these days is way beyond where it used to be a few years ago (thanks to Audi...) and the field sizes the last few years reflected it - at least until the CC came out. One could argue that the CC saved WCGT. But, what's missing in WCGT are the talented pro racers who can't come up with the high $$ sponsorship that it takes to run in the series now.

Does anybody know why Dodge pulled sponsership from racing, was it b/c of cost? I just don't get why they are supporting drifting when it doesn't show what he CC or Viper for that matter can do.

Dodge pulled the Viper program to pursue NASCAR!

I want the Viper at LeMans and ALMS. ORECA won in the past and could bring the Snake back to the podium. Some of the most enjoyable events in our region was around Viper(ORECA) Racing.

NASCAR is of little interest to me.
