If you'll notice, the "hardtop" seems to be just that. Doesnt look like its actually molded into the body as the CC's is. So its pretty much just a hardtop that was elongated with a piece of glass attached to it.

I agree with that statement totally! I would suspect that a larger race prepped gas tank in the Comp Coupe neccesitated the longer overhang??
the Comp Coupe, it had too much rear overhang, this looks more taut ready to Kick some A$$, it brings a tear to my Eye

The GTSR concept was what they should have stuck with. This is horrible.
It looks like a mustang/C6/SRT-10/GTS/Crapmobile. When do you think the Gen4 Coupe is going to be out....2017?

Face it guys there will never be another Viper that looks as bad-*** as the GTS as soon as we get over this we can move on. I will proably buy the new coupe when it comes out,but only as an addition to my GTS.

In my opinion they should have made it look like the Comp coupe...agressive hood and roof vents and Comp Coupe real end. Better than not havining a coupe but as good as it Could BE! Oh well we can modify the bodywork now that it will legal to drive it on the street.
I enjoyed driving my CC on the street it drew attention. Actually not as much as I thought it would considering how friggin loud it was to pull next to!

Looks nice, but i agree doesnt blow me away, looks too much like a gts and Srt combined. Im almost inclined to say i like the regular GTS better.

Sometimes pictures don't do a car justice. Has anyone who posted so far seen it in person? My first impression (from the pictures) is an RX-7 on steroids. It also seems to resemble the new C-6 from the side view. Anyway I think owners of the '01 and '02 GTS's (w/ abs) will see the value of their cars hold for the time being. Just my opinion.

Someone do some more photoshop work on this lowered pic.
Add a Comp Coupe wing and put some HRE or Forgeline wheels on it (get rid of the chevette wheels) and we may have something.

I took a bunch of pics today, it is a hatchback. It opens all the way from the top edge of the glass to the top edge of the rear bumper(like the SRT-10 rear deck lid). It is a BIG hatch, with low liftover loading.
The interior has blue door panels, lower dash and console.

They seem to be blending the old with the new? I would go one direction or the other, but the blend just does not work. I do love the rear treatment, but it just does not fit with the front. The rear has a bunch of curves and the front is all straight.
I guess the good news is that the reason they are showing it is for opinion, so fire away!

I really hope they change the rear to match the comp coupe. Every item on the comp coupe looks aggressive. Why not copy it on the street version?
They should also add a more agressive hood scoop and roof scoop and add more shape to the double bubble in the roof.

I guess the folks at Dodge are so creative, that they had to steal Autoform's body kit. Conceptcars are supposed to be about raising the bar on believability. This concept does nothing for me. The Comp Coupe is a concept car that still smokes this thing.
Get some ****** Dodge and take off the gloves... do your jobs. This thing probably took all of two weeks to modify the hard top off of the concept Carbon Coupe.

the comp coupe/ gts/r concept body is much more **** and exotic looking, it also much more modern looking. i do not like this coupe styling too much of the old GTS and not enough of the CC/GTSR concept!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, I only meant from the side view. The profile looks *generally* the same, with similarly shaped for the side vents. Of course these cars are not exactly the same. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this car is not as easily distinguishable for the general public from a Z06 as the GTS was.

I don't think it's too bad. I do agree that the rear glass needs to be longer, and that lowering it makes it look much better. It still looks better than the new vette.

First off... Thank you DC and Dodge for treating the VCA with the first look of this new beast. That was a real special treat to be part of another release before the public had a chance to see it.
I would like to make a few comments.

4.) The front is so skinny it makes the car (especially SRT-10) look odd and disproportional. Please widen up the front so that when you’re standing in front of it looking down toward her you see a wide beast that wants to eat you!
5.) Just like the **** above the rear wheel well, it needs one up front to keep the lines matching
6.) Stripes are pretty horribly in size.
7.) Wheel well gaps are gigantic
8.) The rear crest that partially hides the tail light needs to mimic the side engine exhaust vent to keep the lines looking good and flowing (you did a good job with the GTS mimicking the side vent).
9.) Rear brake vents would be fantastic.
10.) I really like the vent behind the rear window on the CC when looked at from the top. Vents and scoops are ****.
11) Roof line lowered.
Please make a new program in that which you pick enthusiast to touch up on the car before final production!
