I am one who is glad that John is banned from viper club activity. why? I am one of the many people John ripped off. some of his cars work. especially his high profile cars.
John built me an automatic that was an absolute disaster. the tranny ended up as a smoky molten mess of steel after 3k miles. his mechanic larry even apologized to me because he didn't want to build it and told john not to because he wasn't a tranny guy. john sold the trans that he removed from my car without my permission. it took me a few months to recover it. I finally got a replacement from him (minus the bell housing) but it was not my original tranny. I suspect it was from auto tranny victim #2. I spoke to victim #2 he said he never got his manual trans back from john and his was a disaster too. john said he would give me back half of the money on the blown trans but never did. john also cut the frame to fit the tranny and NEVER reinforced it.I had that fixed too. it took john 8 months to deliver the car. I finally got it after threatening to come to TX and take the car home. when I got there he was just finishing it after working only a week on it. he did a lousy job. you could not shift it. only PNRD and he didn't match the rear end for the trans. I remember speaking to one of his mechanics and he told me that john was building prowlers with big HP. I asked if they were beefing up the tranny, he said no, it will burn out. anyway, back to my story... I gave john an ultimatum, give me the money or I'll get a lawyer. john blew me off. I got a lawyer and I won a judgment against john for which I have only been able to collect 4%. john is very sneaky and knows how to evade the law and collectors, he is a good salesman and is smart, he treats locals quite different than non-locals as he knows who can more easily find him. as an aside, if anyone has advise on how to collect from john, I'd like to know.
So you say get over it, don't be immature, it's childish. I tell you, grow up and stand up for a principle and for your fellow car owners. don't let john steal and destroy the dreams of your fellow car enthusiast. john used to use these boards to get free advertisement and lure people in. When I get my money back from john, I will be over it, but I will never forget and I would do my very best to protect unsuspecting people from this man and mostly, I would hope the Viper community would continue this ban.
SRT10 looks wicked in this pic...It sounds like DC should give the SRT10 the Moton shocks as stock...I bet with these shocks alone properly calibrated the SRT would easily do a sub 8sec lap on the Ring.. 
This is like grade school stuff - please someone explain.
