adam96,
Keep the Viper and cut the handle off of your emergency garage door release. The Lambo is pretty but slow and too much work and $s to keep running. Has no race history like the Viper. Your DLM engine looks great! Just my .02. Good luck with your decision. :D

Adam: you already have mind numbing performance with the Viper. Maybe get something a little less sporty and a little more absurdly rich, like the Aston Martin Vanquish, or Bently GT... (Unless you have to go down to one cool car only.)

I think that the Diablo is very clean looking in white. I've always liked the Diablo's style much more than the Countach.

I think that the Viper and Diablo are very similar in outrageousness, but the SC would definitely make the Viper much quicker (providing that you have decent traction).

Enjoy them both!

I don't know much about the '91 Lambo, but I do know what it feels like to drive a Blown Viper!
I can't imagine, driving another Exotic Sports car and having fun after owning a Blown Viper. Unless of course, I had the option of owning both! Then the Diablo may still be fun occasionally! :p
That's just me though! :D

Then again, I think Heffner has a Twin SC setup for the Diablo, which could be very interesting!

Can you slap a Turbo/charger/NOS on the Diablo ?
I like the styling more than the Viper. Would prefer it in black though.

Just be glad you have such a tough decision to make.

Many people wish they would have to make that decision.

Personally, I would always would opt for speed in a close deciosn like this, so keep the Viper.

Good luck,

Howard

Diablos are nice but a 1991 is a little hard to keep running if you know what I mean. If something goes wrong, get out the check book.

Pretty uninformed statement. Early model Diablos are one of the easiest Diablos to maintain. If the chain tensioner updates are done, the motor is virtually bullitproof. The early cars dont have any added gizmos to break.

Also, speed isnt everything. I went froma Porsche that with the boost turned up could crack 150mph in the 1/4 to an 1987 Countach, which was a turtle comparitively speaking. I never missed the Porsche.

A friend of mine said he had to pull the heads off of a diablo to change the plugs. Sounds like a pain in the ass to me.
