Anyone have any info on Elite Motorsports in tampa??????

Is this the co. that had a whole lot of bad publicity about 6 months ago on this forum? Answer THIS please. This morning I found there web site and really liked there carbon fiber door panels, so I called them only to get a damn answering machine but left my no. to call with questions about the panels, price etc. No return call, so I emailed and said I left a voice mail with phone no. and need someone to call and all I got was an email price response. Why cant someone who wants to make money pick up the phone and call or do they really have the product ?? Its amazing how many people are indepedently wealthy....

yes, I saw them but Im trying to get the door panels which are not listed-imagine that...The feed back I see on the vca forum about e-bay is mostly neg. Do you know of any other vendor that has carbon fiber door panels? Thanks.

If you are interested in CF door sill covers, I'd advise against it unless you have high flow cats or no cats. Mine are cracked to pieces. However, the quality of the carbon is flawless.

Same company (Elite) that has a $90 door popper kit - using the "How To" section from this web site - with a starting bid of $400 on ebay. Such a DEAL - NOT!

That is an amazing door popper kit for $400.00 . As you know I provided the door popper installation instructions and info where to buy door poppers for about $25.00 per door.
What a rip-off.

when i bought my viper a few weeks ago i brought it to Scott at Elite to have him look it over for me.....

Very nice guy, spent a lot of time talking to me about the car and seems like he did a thorough inspection of the car. He had some Amazing cars in his shop, and his 1200hp Blue Viper is just bad ***.

He is a pretty small shop, i think its just him and his son, and i had to leave him a couple voicemails before i got a response. but he did finally email and call back.

He had a bunch of his hoods laying around and those things are AWESOME...... All in all his seems like a good guy just trying to make a buck.
And all i have say about the stuff he has on ebay(coming from a Viper Newbie, but someone who has been building sports cars for many years) ALL THESE VENODR PEOPLE THINK WAY TO HIGHLY OF THEIR PRODUCTS!!!
Selling a simple ashtry cover for $95 OMFG!!! Luckily i ahve the resources to make most of my own stuff, but DAYUMM! lol

yes, Elite motorsport of Tampa is a viper performance shop, they do a lots of installs & upgrades and have a lots of cool accessories for vipers, the owner Scott is a very nice guy, but everyone had their bad time....there were some complains about parts didn't fit or wasn't send out or whatever....

but anyways, we just started to carry full line of elite products, we just got all the rights to produce all their products, but with our brand new mold and material and design to insure the fitment and finish, we will be even produce the elite hood, bumper, wing, just about anything and everything within next month, but with our brand new mold and professional fiberglass builder, top of quality, 100% fitment and finish....so if you see something you like on their site, and you don't feel comfortable to deal with them, you can just please PM or e-mail us...thanks

Scott is a nice guy, but he definatly has quality control problems.With that said... Please say you are going to improve the mold on the hood. What are you going to do about the orange peel paint, pits, bumps, molding defects on the new hood? If you'd like photos, I"ll post them. Will the hoods be sanded completely down to remedy the problem? What about the louvers , will they be finished or can we expect the hood and other exterior parts to be of the same quality? I want to order the rear diffuser but after the quality of the paint and finish of the hood, I have to think otherwise..

Hi everyone....since we got brand new mold and everything, you will not have to worry about the quality of our products, everything will be in black gel coat, so that way you can see all details when you get them, and all underside of the hood will be fully finished too....we can do full painting match over here too...hood lovers are in production already, and everything will be ready for the market very very soon, when you see these parts, you will be WOW....our parts builders are prob the best guy out there...example here is a picture of the hood we made for the Trans Am ram air....and that's right out from the mold, no mod or any sanding...nothing...go from the mold right on to the car...look the fitment and finish.....so we will update everyone very soon..thanks

You mean like the HRE 847R wheels and tires I purchased from him and he sent me CCW wheels for 2k more than you can buy them from anyone else???

The guy is a SCAM I would never recommend him to anyone.

As far as the door popper issue whoever the rocket scientist that said i used the how to section from this site is full of ..... assumptions feed rumours.This kit is a very sophisticated 7 channel PCM that not only ajars the door but the second set of selenoids actually opens the door,not to mention also works the hatch ,power windows and auto start.Far cry from the 25.00 apiece how to system.And as far as the quality of our hoods ect.We have over 40 hoods on the street including my personal viper that are FLAWLESS!!. Unfortunately you are only as strong as your weakest link and i had a painter that was not all he claimed to be on the last few.This i take full responsibilty for.but to say the hoods were crap is just that!. Anyone who has seen or has them will attest to this, unfortunately they are probably afraid of getting ganged up on......................

The carbon on the side sill plates should not have degraded due to heat, but I guess if it gets hot enough... Has anyone ever measured the surface temp of the sills with stock cats?

On the carbon stuff I've made for people, I've done resin infusion. The quality is awesome, and you get damn near the strength and weight of prepreg at much less cost. You can pass the savings on to the customer I'm using a lot of duratec's stuff now, I really like how the parts turn out. Infusion is becoming more and more popular, but it has to be done correctly to be effective.

Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Never bought anything from Elite, and don't know any of the players, but interesting how he skirted the issue of the substitution of the wheels and focused only on the price.

From the emails my wife recieved and the messages i have recieved this appears to be a moot point.We are a very reputable buisiness who is not in the buisiness of decieving its customers.You have recieved a VERY top quality product which exceeds the quality of the "847".And i think if you took the time to compare you would agree that every inch of workmanship on those wheels exceeds the workmanship and material of your friends.These are forged aluminum Viper only racing/street wheels.For example,Have your friend jack up his car and attempt to take off his wheel.Without a large mallet and a lot of frustration it cant be done.Then do the same with these.with an open mind compare the two in every aspect and you will have to agree.Then compare the cost with the same tires. Bottom line is that you are not happy with the product and we have not hesitated to honor our 100% customer satisfaction gaurantee.I was out of town this week due to the loss of a family member ! otherwise i would have handled this situation personally and faster.I am sorry that you feel you have been decieved but i dont know of any better way of handling the situation other than the way we are.

I've got his CF side sill covers and they've held up fine. I do not have cats though....

Scott or Venom550. I'd be interested in a Rear Diffuser. Can anyone GUARANTEE me of NO waviness / Orange Peel, molding defects, etc if one is purchased pre-painted?
