Well, I just got my blue/white car back from [******]'s. I have been thinking about what to do with my blue car and decided I wanted a little more power but wanted to still keep it a "driver". I sent it down to [******]. The car already had headers/exhaust. John told me he could get me a honest 560-570rwh and still keep it streetable. I was very happy when he called and told me it made 584rwh/581rwt!! This is with a stock ECU and 93 oct gas. We both think after I add a AEM, it will make close to 600rwh. Not too bad for a head/cam stock bottom end car!

I've known John since he was working on Dodge Stealths. He built my first GTS and we have always remained friends. Eventhough I had RSI buld my red car and used to drive for them, in our conversations, he never had a bad thing to say about them or anyone else. John was one of the first to tune on Vipers. He screwed up a few times, learned alot and is back to doing business the way it should be done. John gave me a price on the package and told me when to send my car. He did not want my car until all the parts were in his shop. He didn't ask me for any money up front, he wanted me to be happy first, then mail him a check. I dropped my car off and I had it back in a week. As many of you know how picky I am about my car, it came back with no fingerprints, no scratches, just as it left. In the passenger seat was a [******] folder with magazine articles/CD disc and all my dyno sheets, very professonal. Usually, I would be calling to check on my car but John kept in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on with my car. He called me twice yesterday to see if I had driven it yet and what I thought about it. I am very pleased with the way I was treated and the results with my car. There are many "tuners" out there, but just remember, [******] was the first and is still here..

I just wanted everyone to know my experience with [******].

Thanks again John,

SW

My car already had headers& exhaust, T&D's, throttle bodies. For the heads, cam, gaskets, tuning and installation, it was just under $8500. I like the fact it makes power like a supercharger, without the detonation problems and really like the sound.

Glad to hear of your success and those are truly impressive numbers for cam and heads. I don't know *** but have certainly heard plenty. Your experience, although positive, may not be applicable to everyone here, especially as most are not close, personal, long-time friends of his. Don't mean to change the flavor of your thread, especially as someone with no direct experience, but you know it's coming!

Hey SW as I said on the other forum, congratulations on your success with the car. It is nice to read more detail over here on this forum with what was involved.

Cheers,

what kind of heads are you runnin? greg good ported and polished or CNC? also what size valves are you runnin? 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust? also did you mill you heads to raise your compression ratio to 10.0 or higher? lastly what are the specs (lift and duration on intake and exhaust) on the cam you are runnin with the 1.7 ratio T&D rockers?

those hp and tq figures you got are very impressive.

Exactly! Let's here the specs of this job. Did you mod stock heads or start with Mopar performance or GTS-R heads? You can't leave us hanging now.

I used some of John's heads. You can contact him about the flow#'s. Compression is about 10.2, pump fuel friendly. Yes, I'm running 1.7 T&D's. The cam is a custom grind that John came up with. It sounds mean at idle, real deep. It idles perfectly with and without the A/C on. After I get the AEM on it, I will re-dyno and then take it to the track..

Not to highjack this thread but why do they always cross out H-man's name whenever he is mentioned? I know what is going on and what has happened to him and his unhappy customers but isn't that censorship? You can mention anybody else's name on this site but not his. Just curious.

It would mean something if you lived in say, Colorado or NY or Hawaii or ANYWHERE else but Texas! Its never been a problem getting results if you lived in the same state...JH may have been a crook but hes never been called stupid. Hes not going to f with someone that has high visibility in the Viperworld, vetteworld, toyota/lexusworld dragworld etc etc....you get my drift. Hes going to leverage your credibility and of course build you something special. Your free advertising.

It would be a bigger deal if we started hearing about people that got screwed getting kickasp work completed now.

Glad to hear positive news. Hope it continues. Hope to hear some of the news from others*

FYI, Bugeater was once called a "**** sucker" from [******], and it made Bugeater feel super important that a highly publicised individual knew him well enough to call him a "**** sucker." Bugeater(John F.) is simply trying to keep that "status." Which if you ask me, he will never lose, as he truly is a **** sucker.
