It's been a few months since the folding trunktops seemed to be a fairly hot topic. Who has had theirs delivered and what's your take on them ?

Got one from Jeff, last june. It was one of his first "model". Fits great, looks great and much better than oem ragtop. Made in three sections. Easy to store in trunk and easy to install. You can see it in my gallery. I like the newer model, but already have this one...

The prices are shown in the link on the left of his web page. Basic price of the top is $2495 -- great product -- the best hardtop for the RT-10 ever!

Way different top, that must have been fabric or something, his is fiberglass, painted, liner, like OEM one but separates in 3 pieces.

I saw the post about them and told a friend about it. He purchased one and did have some trouble with quality and construction. He's one who doesn't like to complain and didn't want to call and let Jeff know about the problems. I convinced him to and he did. Most issues have been worked out but not all. He is still happy with the top though. I do know some things have been improved since he received his top. IMO it would be best to wait until the bugs are all worked out before I would purchase one. I do feel kind of bad having referred him to this top before it was proven.

One of the original ones just sold on Ebay for $1k. Buyer hit buy-it-now.

If the latest version was priced closer to $1,500, I'd be very tempted to buy one. At 2,500 + more for operational air duct, well, not so much of a no brainer. Maybe like the electronics world, he'll sell enough of them and the price will come down considerably. Maybe?

Probably not. :D

I have to admit, it looks WAY better than stock. I'd love to be able to whip it out of the trunk and pop it on if needed. I hate the stock soft top so much I've never had it on the car.

Can this thing be assembled and put in place quickly and easily? I suppose that's the point, just haven't ever seen one in person.

a little more about the top. e-z off and on. no problems with speed. fit is good and style is WONDERFUL as it makes the car look totally different. no more 2 people to take off the top. if dodge would have offered this top with the viper, sales would have been much more. the look is something that a picture just does not show. i did not get the vent option but did get the storage bags. fits in the trunk with room to spare and NO more worry about rain. i must say that jeff designed this the right way as one can see it when up close. the guy put his genius on this one and all rt/10 owners should thank him. it's worth the price (if you can get one) thanks jeff.

I purchased one about nine months ago. I really like it. I can put it on or take it off in just a couple of minutes. If you get one, I definitely recommend getting the leather protective storage bags.
