I think I may trade it in on a new 911 turbo. The dealership is offering $70k, so I'll sell it for $71k if anyone is interested, and we'll do an in and out. The car is a 2003 with just over 6k on the clock, and I have roughly $28,000 sunk into it after the fact. I've done a looong list of mods including the polished Paxton, wheels, full polished intake, clutch, gears, exhaust, and LOTS of other stuff. The car put down 720 at the wheels, but I went with a very conservative tune, so it should be just under 700rwhp now. It's going to be a quick thing, so I'll need someone who is ready to buy, and has cash in hand, or good credit. Financing can obviously be arranged for qualified buyers. Also, if you wanted to trade your current car in on this one, it would be a great way to get a ton of mods for pennies on the dollar! Just thought I'd give you guys dibs on a very tweaked car!

I definitely do! I'm just one of those guys that gets bored easily. It's a terrible sickness I have that costs me a lot of money. With the exception of my ACR, I've never kept a car for more than 6 months or so. To me, the fun part is building it. I dumped a TON of cash into this thing that I won't get back, and the car is phenomenal, but I thought I might try something different.

Big Carrot, with over 2400 posts, and your leaving us. Wow. Keep the SRT, and get the 911 also.

The Viper certainly gets more attention. The only car I know to out do it is the Amrour Hot Dog mobile.

911 Turbo, is such a car, so I can see the conflict.

I've had three Vipers, and I love them, but I just think I want a change of pace. Hell, knowing me, I'll have another Viper by September. ;)

Big Carrot;

Just a little advice on Porsche and mods... if you want a warranty don't do any!

I have a new Cayenne Turbo that I special ordered. Even putting K&N filters on it took some sweet-talk at the dealership.

Don't believe me? Call Mark Jorgenson at Woodhouse in Blair, NE. Woodhouse now owns a Porsche dealership. They also discovered that unless the mods are "Porsche developed and sold" that there will be a problem. At over 100K for my family truckster, I just don't need the hassles of a void warranty on a Porsche.

BTW, I did pay cash for the car; therefore a loan isn't holding me back from modding. Instead, it's the insane cost of fixing something I caused to go wrong because of mods.

Just my 2cents, but you should think about modding the Turbo if it's new.

Good advice, however I don't see the Big Carrot not MODDING A CAR! Luckily for me I'll hopefully be the care taker of this hot car come Monday. Hey, post more pics!

Yeah, I absolutely LOVE this car! The silver with the black wheels really pops! I'll miss it, but I'll have other toys!

Hey Carrot!! Check out www.evoms.com They did my Porsche and are a great resource for mods. :headbang:

Thanks for the link! The only RUF store in North America is actually just across the street from Velocity Performance, the guys that did my SRT. I'm sure I'll get to know them too!

It's just gonna be really wierd going from an 850hp car to a 415hp car! The Porsche guys get off on a car that puts 600 to the wheels! That's not bad, but in the Viper world, it's pretty run of the mill. Hopefully I can take it!

I think I have a deal on it, but if it falls through, I can arrange financing if your credit is fairly strong. Will I carry the note myself? Uhhhhhh.... NO. Not a chance.

My Porsche puts 726 to the wheels, that's just about 850hp ;) . It is very fast but not much of a challenge with awd and all the goodies. Smoothest fast car I have ever owned though. :headbang:

That's awesome! Right about where my SRT is at the moment. Can I ask what it cost to get there... roughly?

I don't want to calculate it. :D :D

Call EVO and ask for Todd. Tell him Bill Walters sent you, he can break it down for you. I did wheels, body kit, stereo, suspension, brakes and some other crap so my bill was pretty high. The HP part was actually less than what I am paying for my Heffner cars power upgrade.
