Wife Said Buy the Wheels

I will be getting the Purner's. Anyone here want to get my stock wheels? It is in very good condition except the left rear has a small curb rash. Tires are still 95%. I'm open for any offer.

You know you guys crack me up. You talk big on the net, but can you honestly say when you spend 5K you do not at least discuss it with your wife? I bought a viper then sent to DLM for level III+ & told my wife that is what I would like to do, she doesn't care, but talking about it & keeping her in the loop is what marriage is all about. You either have soo much money that it doesn't matter or you are the sole breadwinner & rule the money.

Marriage, from what I know so far, is a partnership.

NOTV8, you have been bashed enough, congrats on your new wheels. I would discuss with my wife too.

Hey NotV8, post some pictures. I'm looking for some Purners as well, and guess what? I've discussed the idea with my wife. What can I say? We like to involve each other in our activities.

Before my wife went out and bought a grand piano, she talked it over with me. We looked at many different makes and models before she made a deision. Maybe the other women on the Piano forum are giving her a ration of crap about that...

Perhaps we were a little ******* him. I can see the difference. "Asking for permission" and "talking with your wife" what you are doing are two totally different things. Being married and brining home the bacon, I recently said... " I think I"m going to buy another Viper". Which the reply was " GET A BLACK ONE"...

However, if I had to "ask for permission" I think I would have re-evaluated my position in the marriage....

My wife's a little different, here's how our conversation would go:

I would say: "honey -I'm getting $5K new wheels for the Viper", and she would say, "That's nice, but why spend $5,000.00 on new wheels when for $80K more you can buy a brand new Viper with new wheels".

I would say, "you know your right, I think I will buy a new Viper instead and forget about the new wheels, good night honey"

Why say anything at all about it to the wife? She'll eventually notice when the wheels are on the car along with everybody else. She may never even notice them at all.
She doesn't tell you about the money she's been secretly funneling into another bank account just around the corner. As a plan B in case one day you realize your a man instead of a sap.
