\"I\'m Lovin it\"!

Its been 2 weeks now that I have owned my Race Yellow SRT 10 and I simply LOVE THIS CAR!! I have been on vacation (just relaxing at home) and have put over 500 miles on the car in just 2 weeks - all of the miles pleasure cruise miles in Bucks County Pa farm land - smooth roads, roads with lots of bend and curve, roads that follow streams and the Delaware river - picked my kids (they go to different schools and leave at different times) up from school this week and gave them and their friends a thrill at seeing a Viper in person - everywhere I go with this car the gawk factor is tremendous - so many thumbs up from almost every other driver - pull into a gas station (paying almost $55 to fill up a 15 gallon tank) and the car draws a crowd - so much damn fun! The car peforms like a champ its so powerful yet controllable - you can sense from its feedback what it likes and dislikes - coming from 6 Corvettes (some modified) the car feels more stable, the shift patterns in the Vette always felt like the car was light and was getting torqued to slide with power shifts - the Viper holds the road and feels better built. The Race Yellow looks incredible (all the time IMHO) but especially WOW on bright sunny days. I love this incredible car! Well off for some Zaino treatment today and then a nice cruise to dinner with my wife tonight (17th Wedding Anniversary today). I wish you all a great Labor Day Holiday weekend and safe, fun, exhilirating driving in our Vipers!

Turbo63;

Glad you are enjoying your Viper! Addictive, isn't it?

Well, have you noticed how bugs love the Yellow? I am not talking about the splattered ones who "gave it up" to the windshield, front fascia, radiator, etc. I am talking about Bug's just LOVING the Viper's Yellow Paint!

When the Box Elder Bugs start showing up (any day now) they will go nuts over the Yellow Viper paint. Yellow-Jacket Wasps love that Yellow too!

Seriously, that yellow makes those particular bugs attracted especially attracted to it! My kid's talk about the bug's loving my Gen II "Race Yellow" every fall when the Box Elder's and the Yellow Jacket's come out. It is really true... you'll see for yourself soon.

BTW, I grew up in Lancaster, PA. Buck's County is just gorgeous, and the roads are tailor-made for Viper cruises. Just keep an eye out for those Deer, Turbo63!

Cheers to you! Wish I was there to drive my "Copperhead" with you on those cruises through the hills and by the rivers. Rural PA is breathtakingly beautiful.

Of course, we would have to take our the spouses to dinner in "Paradise and Intercouse"! No talk of wife swappin', OK? My wife would put me in the next Amish (or Mennonite) buggy that came by, and say "have fun dear". No offense to the Amish or mennonite's intended here! They just don't like electricity or chrome. However they DO LIKE SERIOUS HORSEPOWER of the real 4-legged kind!

Hey tourist in the Yellow Viper..... that thing got a Clydesdale in it?

Seriously, have fun and respect the power of the 10 piston Beast!

Re:

Waukee Iowa, is that anywhere near Waterloo Iowa? Yes Jim, I know the deal with Yellow! I had a few Corvettes in yellow before the SRT 10 and the bees, flies and just about any other flying creature wants to mate with the yellow car! Anyway, thanks for the post - Lancaster is a great place - like I said some of the winding farm land roads are great places to drive the Viper - enjoy the weekend!
