This is pretty minor, I know, but I want to wine about it anyway. Some punks on bikes stole my cool Viper valve stem caps. I saw them from afar, but just assumed they were checking out the Viper like most do.

I wish I could have cought them.

Creeps.

Anyway, I can't find a new set when doing a search. Anyone know where to get them?

Run a hot wire from your battery to a cap when you replace them. Setup a video camera and have fun.

Happens ALL the time... got mine stolen from my 360 so I went to Walmart and splurged paying 1.49 for a set of 4 chrome ones. :)

I've never had my valve caps stolen, and I drive mine to work every day its not raining (which is all summer in these parts), to a store, restaurants, or any other excuse I can find, which includes parking it in all sorts of of unsavory places with kids, etc.

Of course, I only have the black plastic caps. (I intentionally don't get the Viper caps just because of the ease of theft).

Buy them at Auto Zone... 1.99 for a set of 4. Something similar happen to me a few months back. I was at a party and some kids when out to look at my car. Didn't notice it until the next morning when I went to wash it. I was kinda pissed cause its disrepectful, but got a laugh out of it cause these kids think they got Viper Chrome Caps when they're just cheapos

Good point JonB...but I have to correct your quote.

It was John Wanamaker that basically said...."half of my advertising is wasted...I just don;t know which half".

The actual quote was "It is generally known that common advertising is like barrels of seed, in which half the seed is dead.".

Being in the Ad Biz myself...we can usually tell clients which half they are wasting.

Back on topic...it would be nice if sponsors were used.

Had a set stolen a few years back while parked in the Henry Ford museum parking lot. After a few chosen words I just replaced them and was thankful they were Viper fans instead of the key carrying juvenile types.

Griots sells theft-proof valve stem caps. Without the tool they just spin freely.

These are great. They look great and you can't steel them without the little tool. You can get them with a little Viper logo too.
