Got a set of HRE 543s, 19". Were on a GTS. Trying to put on my SRT. Fronts are fine, rears are the problem. They clear the calipers fine but the e-brake connection cable has about a 1mm interference. Can this be articulated to not interfere...looks like some allen connections that might work but not sure. Or do I need some sort of ebrake relocation??? Any info appreciated.

After you machined bracket, how much clearance did you have between it and the rim? Wouldnt think you would need much but the stock rims have at least 1/4" of clearance and I would be unable to machine the bracket that much. There looks to only be maybe 1/8" or so that I could machine. That would be enough but would leave only about that much clearance. Am I confusing enough???

I'm running 18" HRE'S in the rear with the machine work. All you need to do is clear the e-brake cable. No rerouting of the cable to an uncomfortable position just to make it fit.

Grayman, The bracket that the e-brake cable comes out of. I sent you a picture. Sorry I don't know how to post it.
Fred, yes I needed a spacer to help the wheel clear the brake caliper also.

My fix was to sell the HRE's and bought BBS's. Had zero problems with the BBS's.

I called HRE (purchased wheels at VOI in LV in 99.) to get a corrective action as they told me they would fit my ACR. They said they would get back to me, never happened! No big deal! I vote with my $$ they will never get another cent from me.
