So I just bought my first Viper. Now the problem... I won't be getting it for at least a week. I'm not sure how i'm going to sleep this week knowing its on the way. :2tu:

I do know i'll be giving rides for 3 weeks straight. Anyone that has found out I have one coming has already asked for a ride. I should charge a fee... :D

I'm very anxious to take that first drive. Also to answer the question everyone will ask.,.... "What are the speakers in the hood for?" :)

Don't even bother to try sleeping this week! I had the same problem before picking mine up a few weeks ago. I've had a lot of people excited about the car and following me around, but not a lot of questions yet. (except...is it fast? Duh!)

Spend some time on the VCA forums this week to help pass the time! And, congratulations!! :2tu:

Thanks for the invite JonB. That is right down the freeway for me. I'll be there. (just wish I didn't have to show up in a Ford) :)

I got a red 01 RT/10. 6700 miles on it and it looks damn pretty. :) As a matter of fact, it is this viper right here:

Hopefully, it will be put on a truck and get here before next weekend.

B Snake: I wanted to fly down and drive it back (only 750 miles), but the mountain pass looked a little too snowy for my taste. I could handle the snow with the snake, but was nervous about the gravel they put down. I could see my self shedding a tear everytime I heard that "tink" of a rock on the paint...

Nice looking red Viper. Already has smooth tubes I see. I wonder if there are any other mods? I have had my Viper for over 1 year and still have people wanting rides. The Viper really is an American exotic and is exciting to just look at let alone drive.

Congrats and welcome.

KHitman - run it up the 101 then cut over to I-5 at Florence. You will doubtless get rained on, but the 101 is fun down there and you and have the fun of driving the beast home.

Otherwise, it you wait for the truck and can't sleep, read some US tax code at bedtime. :)

101.... Crap... I never even thought about that. I could have came up the coast... Would have saved the whole moutain range snow... Good call ceieio... Too bad it's going to be on a truck before I could get down there and get it...

Something tells me i'm going to be taking many long trips in the Viper. :)

your baby arrives Please take the time to get use to her,
Especially when showing her potential to any passengers.
P.S Now may every saved nickel be spent in H.P mods! :2tu:

Congrats, I just bought my '96 w/13K 2 months ago. I couldn't wait either so I flew back to NJ and drove it back. Already put a K&N intake system on it, BBS 18" wheels with new Pilots, New Intrax springs, slotted rotors and Hawk pads, Hedman Headers and Borla exhaust (Headers and Borla) not yet installed. It only takes money. MGH

If anybody is interested. I'm selling my 8,000 mile 99 black with silver stripes and rare connolly combination in a black GTS. I think less than 20 were produced in this color combo in 99. The rarest was the red with connolly that year. Has Mopar computer and Mopar/Borla exhaust. Also SVS billet throttle bodies and cold air package, T&D 1.7 roller rockers with longer push rods. Never raced. If interested email me at [email protected].
