A big thanks to Bill and Adam at Visions of Speed - for technical advice during my install- these guys are great!

I will do a full write up with pictures when I am done. I am using the VEC and the Split-sec computers.

I had the same issue with the tensioner. It was sticking and did not seem to provide enough tension. I loosened the tensioner bolt and it freed up. I loctited the nut and it has been fine since. I plan on replacing the belt this winter just as general preventative maintenance (I do not want to have to replace it mid-summer).

Who is doing your tuning? Does the kit come with a program so the car will run until you get it to a dyno for a tune?

The system comes with a split-sec computer (piggy back) that will modify the timing (ties into the crank and camshaft sensors as well as manafold vacuum) its my understanding that with this set-up the car will run fine but be on the low end of the power curve.

I have installed the VEC-II and am using the the split/sec to run the fuel pumps the base program for my VEC-II was kindly provied to e by Bill at Visions of Speed- it should provide a conservative tune until I get on a dyno.
