I for one think "the rag" is great. I even bought every back issue after I bought my car in 2000. The magazine has gotten better with every issue and the editor has responded to our suggestions here. They actually break their tail to do this as best they can. I had a chance to hoist a few with the editor back in January. The thing they want the most is more Viper Club content. Take some pictures at an event, even just a cruise, and send them in, they will even write the article. If WE don't contribute then we can expect the pages to be filled with NASCAR or drifting. So if you want to be critical of the mag, ask yourself when was the last time you contributed to it.

Does anyone have the Summer '95, Spring '96, Summer '99 or Spring '02 issue that they would like to get rid of?

Great. It’s getting much better.
Fantastic picture in the middle. I think, I will take it out and frame it.
Please, keep going and make it monthly. But, right - we have to contribute more.

<< I will take it out and frame it. >>

that brings up an idea i have had for awhile.

there have been a few pics that i would love to frame, but there is that nasty looking crease to look at. is there any way to make the centerfold pic without the crease so the pic is more suitable for framing?

These really are "Our Magazines". Definitely one of the best issues ever. We should see both VIPER Magazene and VCA Notes improving as more members and enthusiast owners write articles that are of interest and better technical content. The "Gearing Up" article had a lot of good technical info (other than the blurred for affect pictures :( ) on the Viper's assembly process and very little "fluff". Drew's article on Heffner's TT is a good example of an enthusiast's contribution that is of great interest. The "Grease Is The Word" atricle is a nice simple do-it-yourself article that will hopefully grow into a series of more technically involved articles. We'll definitley be adding this one to the sites How-To area.

Got this from VIPER Magazine, just for you:

"I can price them out...I'd have to also price a tube since we'd have to
have a way to mail it so I'd won't get a crease. I'll let you know."

Actually, the VCA is working with VIPER magazine on possibly making these available as posters. No promises, but I know it is being discussed...

OMG - that would be GREAT!

even if the pics were the size of the printed page that would be fine IMO. that size would still make a nice frameable pic, and it would save money on the framing expenses.

thank you!! :2tu:

I think having posters available would be great. 24x36" would be perfect for the garage. Remember the "Viper makes hisssstory" poster. We need more posters like that. Those posters rock!!!

Posters should be extras to the magazine. 24x36 is probably standard. They should be available to the general public as well. This could provide some funds to the Magazine.

I didnt even notice the head until after reading the above post. I guessing cutting someone's head out of a photo isnt always a bad thing. Still a great pic!
