There was just a thread for a group 4 post purchase.

Use the SEARCH feature - type in 4 post, too many to count

Backyard Buddy, Revolution, and so on and so on.....

Welcome!

Good luck!

I love the Revolution lift ( www.revolutionlifts.com) I bought, I got the extended version so I can use it to work on my truck as well. It is a commercail quality lift that has many safety features like secondary safety latches, all mechanisms are inside the column to eliminate pinch points, and textured decks for theat if a car is pulled onthe lift with wet tires, it won't go sliding off the ohter end when you hit the brakes!

Here are a few threads about it:

Revolution lift thread one

I agonized over this decision. I checked out Bend Pak, AC, ProPark, and Rotary/Revolution. Most people in the "business" including my mechanic recommended Rotary/Revolution as the one to get. They are at least $1000 more than any other residential lift but I needed convincing that it was a thousand dollar better lift than the others. Then I checked the shipping weight of all the lifts I was comparing and the Rotary was 600 pounds heavier than the closest other lift. That must say something about the quality and guage of steel and materials used in this lift. So I bit the bullet and got the Rotary (It's due to be installed in February). I figured for the extra grand, I feel more secure.

The additional weight was one of the things that sold me too. You'll love it.

If you are assembling it yourself (good excuse for a barbeque with your friends), be careful on how much hydraulic fluid you add.... the instuctions called for a bit more than it needs.... fill it to the "line", run it up and all the way down and then refill it to the appropriate level. It will save a big mess if you do it this way. Likely not bad advice for any hydraulic unit.

Thanks for the input, I,ll check back with you in Feb, Unless I can,t wait that long and buy something before my car gets in @ end of Jan. I would think the same regarding the heavy metal.
