Finally had time to clean up the car and get some pics of the Performance by Joe Airbox and Catch Can. I got the long version where it is open in the front to draw in more air.

In the middle picture you can see where the intake temperature sensor now resides.

I like the airbox and the matching catch can. Does the "longbox" draw air from behind the radiator? It looks like the bottom of the box is closed and the air just comes in from the NACA duct.

In the top pic you can see where it dips down towards the front of the car, that is where it draws in air in front of the radiator. I don't have a pic of that right now. I will take one tomorrow to give you a better perspective.

Call Joe Donovan at Performance by Joe. 314-781-3135. I am not sure what the material is, you can choose color etc. Both are powder coated. I selected brushed aluminum for the tubes but I think you can get those any way you like as well.

Hey guys,
As far as some of the questions....the boxes and the cans are made of stainless steel. The gen 2 cans are vented on both sides of the valve covers using the factory ******* on the valve covers. The gen 1 cans vent on 1 side right now, but I am changing that as we speak... I will be sending out upgrades to the gen 1 can owners here shortly. We offer two versions of boxes long and short and we can add custom graphics also. We are making a can for gen 1 and 2 cars, and are in the process of the gen 3 cars. We powdercoat all piece in your choice of color or we can paint to you choice, factory color, custom...etc. Our powdercoat comes in smooth or textured also. Sorry for the PBJ commercial... Thanks for the post Dave, everything looks awesome.
