Not to crazy about it but it might look much different with Black Stripes. I think that is going to be an option.

Is going to be? The copperheads are out for model year.

nope. right now the dodge website is really behind. all the colors are 2006 (supposedly no 2007 model year but there will be a 2008)

the colors are

red.............optional silver stripes, limited edition white stripes
blue (discontinued).optional silver stripes, limited edition white
black... optional silver stripes
yellow (discontinued)optional black stripes, only 2 made silver
copperhead... optional stripes (dont know what color)
gray (no pics yet).. optional stripes (im guessing silver)
white with blue stripes (able to order may 1st)

One here at a dealer in Central NJ. I stopped in and wow....very nice. It is a different look than the convert. Under the dealer lights it shined. No stripes. The above pictures do not do justice to the color, but are a good starting point.

The background is too white. I bet a picture of it on the driveway, street or just outside, will look FAR better.

However, it looks great. :2tu:

I am not sure about the silver stripes. They would match with the wheels and the gas port, but the gas port is in a different location than the Gen II. The questions to ask are
1) Do stripes look good on that model? - I think that the Gen III look far different in person than a Gen II. More aggressive angles in some areas. Seems more pointy to me. You really have to be careful adding stripes on a Gen III.

2) Would the colors match? Well, the Copperhead has a very unique color. Silver is iffy to me. I have never seen one though. Black might darken up the overall color too much.

The background is very white in those pictures and it is hard to really appreciate the cars color. If you are considering stripes, someone here could photoshop it. That would be the way to go.

Well just a quick update. I called the plant yesterday to find out about my Copperhead Coupe. As of 2 days ago it is in stripping. I hope I will have her within the next few weeks so as soon as I have her I will post some pic's with the black stripes.

The Copperhead Coupe is just like the convertible...........pictures will not do this color justice. Once the car is outside, with the Sun hitting it from different angles it will show off it's best dazzle. Even pictures taken outside with the Vert did not totally help express this color. The folks that have seen the 2005 Copperheads have all expressed what a greeat look the car has outside and how it causes alot of reactions. I would expect the same, and we will post our Coupe with Black stripes if it gets in before Superdavz gets to him.

Best Regards,
Bill Pemberton

Do you mean this one? I was unsure about the Coupe's design until I saw it. And I believe it came in some Autoweek article. There's no high resolution version that I know of.

And for comparison sake, here's a pic of someone's Copperhead (the best one when it comes to showing the potential of that color) and the SRT-10 Coupe ACR concept which was shown in SEMA.

The outdoor picture next to the lake is the true color. Great angle of the shot as well. Brings out the lines of the car. As you can see from the above, the stripes hide the scoop alittle.
